Able to keep cold drink for hours

This Summer has been brutally hot. I like to ride but the plastic insulation bottles only able to keep drink cold in less than half an hour. This bottle can keep cold drink for hours and fits in bicycle bottle holder. I am no longer a weight conscious cyclist, so a bit heavier bottle does not concern me.

Too hard to Open

I had bought this product to keep my water cool while cycling, and possibly bike packing in hot weather. It was sooo hard to open with your teeth. There’s no way you can open with your teeth while doing a sport. You have to stop and open with your hands. Which may work for many, but just not for me. Also, it was quite hard to get it into a water cage. It would most definitely either peel the cage or water bottle paint. This product just may not be for cycling. For other sports though, if you have to use your hands to open it, that’s less hygienic and not my preference. If the bottle was slightly slimmer, and the mouth piece was easier to open , then I think it may be quite perfect and gain a larger following.

Great for bikes, cap makes weird noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is very functional as expected, and keeps water cold. I was excited to have an insulated bottle that could fit on my bike. The lower half is plastic, which was a bit disappointing, but reasonable from a durability standpoint. The only real flaw with this product is the cap, which makes a very loud whistling/chattering sound when you drink from it. Im not kidding when I say it’s quite loud. People turn their heads. I’m looking into using an alternative cap for it, because the bottle is great otherwise. Looking forward to more similar products from hydro flask! I really love to see bike compatible bottles!

Works great!

Was skeptical of the lid, but it flows plenty. Not as much as the newest bike bottles, but as much as the classic designs. Insulation performs way better than even the aerogel insulated podium ice, which in turn outshine any other squeezable bottle. Definitely a whole other level of keeping cold. Can’t wait to use it with a sip lid and hot beverages in cooler weather. Fits great in my bottle cages, could see it rattling in more budget cages though.

Leaks and Noisy

I got this for my kid last minute to replace a broken lidded water bottle. I was looking for stainless, sport mouth and study. This seems to fit the bill. The issue is that is is very noisy it makes a seal sound when you draw water. It also is not sealed to not leak. I’d return it but my kid likes the seal sound!

Sport Bottle Rocks!

I purchased the sport bottle for my bike rides. Fits great in my bottle cage and the top is fantastic, I love it more than my squeeze bottles!

Nice Bottle

It’s a nice bottle but I bought it for cycling and I’m used to squeezing my cycling water bottles and this is metal so it has no squeeze to it. Something I failed to think about when purchasing. The product itself is fine and I’ll use it for my workouts on my rowing machine.

Thought it was dishwasher safe

It’s a great bottle and my kids like it, but one of the main reasons I got it was because I thought it was dishwasher safe. It’s not. That said, my kids didn’t know either and have ran it through the dishwasher a few times now and so far there’s been no issues as a result. I still told them to hand wash from now on. If this bottle was dishwasher safe I’d give it the full 5 stars. So take test for what you will. It also doesn’t take long to go through only 20oz of water, but I understand it’s the size it is so it fits in a bottle holder for a bicycle.
