The improved Sherpa 100AC
The new version has an added feature that was not mentioned... the USB direction switches on the back allows you to control 60 watt C port in or out, the old version would default to fill a power station via C to C cable, the new version can pull power from a power station via the chosen port... they both fit in the sleeve with enough space to store short cables... I have run tablets for hours with ease, and topped up phone from the second USB A port... it is a very convenient power extender.
Needs improvement
I've gone through two of these units. The first unit the 100w USB c port stopped working less than 6 months. I exchanged for a new one. The second unit's display stopped working after 3 months. Both units were lightly used. I have the previous model that's over 5 years old and it still works great. I returned the second unit for a refund. This is the first goal zero product I've been disappointed in. I would give goal zero 5 stars for standing behind their product and replacing it while both unit had issues within the warranty period, but I won't be getting another until they release a new durable version of the Sherpa 100ac.

Essential for International Travel
Previously, when traveling internationally, I carried a heavy converter, multiple regional socket adapters, and multiple chargers. Now, with my Sherpa 100AC, I use one regional socket adapter and one charging block to charge all devices through my Sherpa. Overnight, I charge five devices using Sherpa battery power. During the day, I charge my Sherpa and computer (through the Sherpa). My Sherpa charging system has significantly reduced the weight and hassle of my prior charging system.

Awesome idea. Poor execution
I've been using this for work travel. It never gave me a full 100W, but I was still able to charge my laptop on lower wattage. I could work with that. It's fickle on when it accepts a charge at all (the 60W port is more consistent than the 100W port). I can charge my laptop from near dead to full but it takes the full power bank. Plugging in my iphone 13 overnight, I get a half phone charge and the sherpa has gone from 100% to 50-60% remaining. When it's below 20%, it depletes RAPIDLY. I've only used the AC option 1 time to run my CPAP machine, so I don't have any consistent metrics to share.

Phenomenal Cosmic Power Itty Bitty Living Space
I love the Sherpa, I have used two of the 1st gen Sherpa for years, and they are amazing, I have been excited to upgrade to the latest, and the wait was well worth it. I like having the option to charge from USB-C or the 8mm port, and power my laptop with one cord instead of having different adapters has been nice... I was hoping to see a pure-sine inverter with the newer version, but it's fine overall. Pro's: Versatile, powerful, compact, sexy (I mean seriously, there's no other mini solar generator that comes close to this sexiness) Cons: Modified Sine-wave inverter

Great EDC solar battery!
I loved the Gen2 and really enjoy the improvements on the Gen3. Great to see the solar input moved to the back! Small change big convenience impact (now the sleeve needs an update though). Happy to see a 100W USB-C now and 10W more solar input. My typical use case is working off-grid with a laptop, mobile phone plus some gadgets. I usually attach a 60W super compact solar panel (e.g. SolarFairy fits into any backpack). This combo had shading issues on the Gen2 but those are gone with the Gen3 100AC. After a day outdoors, the 100AC is fully charged and the laptop too, so I am good to work late or watch some movie. The display could be brighter, or it is just my model that has this issue on a sunny day outside.

Useful Tool
I purchased this to be part of an EMCOM a Starlink Mini kit. We have tested the Sherpa several times. It will power our Starlink Mini for between 3 and 4 hours. It accepts simultaneous solar panel input. With two chained 20-watt solar panels and good sun the Sherpa breaks about even on energy output and inputs. The Goal Zero solar panels, on the days we tested them, were running at 55% of their rated power output - this was typical performance from solar panels. This Sherpa is a good match for this use case. I can only represent what we have seen.

Worked great for travel
Bought this power bank to power most of my devices during an overseas trip, and it worked great. Used it as a pass-through to charge the powerbank while i was charging my phone, headphones and SteamDeck during the flight. I thought I would use the AC port more but most of the use was the USB-C ports and the wireless charger on top. If you don't need the AC port I would recommend the PD version instead.
Dead on Arrival
The LCD screen was dead on arrival. I'm very disappointed that some of the negative comments that I saw before I purchased this about the low degree of quality assurance turned out to be true. I'm going to reach out and see if I can get mine replaced, however I cannot recommend this to others at this time until they sort out the QA problems. I'm giving it two out of five stars because I like to imagine that they possibly do sell some good units that are reliable.

Does not perform
Bought this to be able to charge my iPad while flying as well as have extra juice while camping. Barely a week in the USB c ports just stopped. They flash and blink and do nothing no matter what cable or device I hook it up to. No reason something this expensive should be doing this. The included cable isn't anything special either, and it doesn't come with its own charging block. Luckily I had one from my yeti 400.
