exactly what I wanted

The first time I assembled it was pre-coffee morning (I thought I'd try as an experiment) and it wasn't too bad. It requires no tools and the parts fit in the aft hatch of my big touring kayak when disassembled, so I can launch and land at different parts of the lake and not have to leave anything behind. This has been a game-changer as I can now use a public boat ramp to launch that is even closer to the house than the walking-distance public beach I have used in the past.
