Pretty Great Dry Bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dry bag was really good, I ended up needing to buy another one but had little time to get one shipped that I picked up another sea to summit one from REI. I needed them both for a river trip and they held up really well, only got a little water in it once and it did end up getting really dirty on the outside. But they worked really well, looked super cool, and weren’t too bulky. Loved them! I’d maybe consider getting the strap for my smaller one next time.
Big River 35L
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material of the bag instills confidence when tossing it around at camp or into the back of a vehicle. The buckles seem hardy and I like that they are easily field replaceable with just my Swiss Army knife. I use these for canoeing and kayaking and the lightweight and ultra-sil bags for backpacking due to the lighter fabric. Have yet to use the shoulder strap with a load in the bag but it fits nicely. Just bought another for my sister’s birthday.
Decent dry bag, BAD sling day bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two big river dry bags. The over all build as a dry bag is good. However I bought to use it as a day bag with a sling. After one trip the bottom sling loop already began tearing. Would not recommend to use with sling to carry.
Great quality bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag was bigger than I expected it to be - which was great, because we were able to fit items for our family of four in there while on our latest camping/hiking trip. This bag keeps things super dry and is perfect for what we used it for. We went on a hiking trail walking through streams and waterfalls and even after we got slightly wet, nothing affected the items in our bag. I like the roll top design to keep inside contents as secure as possible, and will be getting the sling to be able to wear this on my back next time we are on a hiking trip. (Doesn't come with a sling or strap - you need to get this separately).
great quality, big enough for a sleeping bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several dry bags over the years in camping and backpacking adventures. Some of them have been very thin and weren't as waterproof as hoped. These bags though are thick and meant to take a beating. I got the 20 L one and it is big enough to hold an adult sleeping bag. I like that the bottom of the bag is even thicker and tougher. There are 2 handles on this bag also, one on each side, to make it easier to carry without unlatching the clip at the top. The seal seems very good. I didn't get to test it out on the waterproof part as the camping trip I went on didn't have rain for once, but I think it would keep anything inside of it safe. The seams are well coated also. I would buy more of these to use for clothing and other necessities as they seem to work very well.
Perfect go ANYWHERE bag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the big river bag for my motorcycle touring now for 5 years and they hold up to the weather and the rough use I put these through. Now with this updated bag with the additional loops on its sides. This is a PERFECT bag with much more possibilities to attach anywhere on the motorcycle. Very happy with the bag and is my go to bag for packing. I have the 3/8/13/20/35 and the 65 liter river bags. YES, they are that good! Use these for motorcycle tours and kayaking.
Best dry bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome dry bag. I had the old model and the new one is even better, lots of thoughtful features, and super durable. I’ll use one as a bag for leading kayak classes and the 13L can fit a massive first aid kit and lunch for 6. It is pretty burly so i won’t chose it if weight was a factor but for paddle sports it’s the best dry bag on the market.
Super tough
This bag is super tough. I kayak camped on the Yadkin River with this bag. We ended up hauling it through briars while porting with no trouble. The strap on the side and D ring on the handle are helpful for handling and securing, and kept everything dry even though it floated in the water for a minute or two. Very impressed with this bag. This review is for the big bag but I also have a 20 liter one, same model, that we took to Biscayne NP on a snorkeling trip and it is flawless as well. Highly recommend these bags.
Big River Bags - Best Weight to Durability Ratio!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Sea top Summit Big River dry bags for my Watermaster inflatable fishing boat. Best weight to durability ratio I have found. I have been a professional in the outdoor industry for 25+ years and can say that Sea to Summit makes excellent, durable, and well thought out gear!
Really durable and easy to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really durable and easy to use bags for the river! These are our go-to for our canoe trips, but we typically still double bag things just to be extra safe. These always feel very quality, have lots of useful places for straps and as I said, the exterior feels quite durable.
