I had been eye-balling the Spirit Express draws for quite some time and then these caught my eye, easy with the bright colors! When comparing the Spirits to these, they are essentially identical just slightly heavier/ larger but also lighter in the wallet. The rounded spine gives a little more space inside the carabiner (which I don't personally need) but I do have large hands and the curve gives me a nice handful with a positive feel when grabbing for a draw while cruxing out. The handling and construction are superb. Every one of my climbing partners that has used them has commented on how nice they clip, even the Spirit Express owners!
When it comes to quality climbing safety equipment, it's Petzl, Black Diamond and everyone else. These are top quality Quickdraws, with nice gate tension for clipping the bolt or your rope. Due to this year's Sale, I grabbed a 6-pack of the 11cms and a couple of the 17cms for funky bolt placements. These are a tad bit lighter than other comparables from Petzl and BD, owing to a thinner dog bone; but that dog bone is bomber solid and rigid, so I don't feel like I'm giving anything away in tersm of performance.
Used this to clip 2 large suitcases together while going thru the airport. Made it so much easier to keep them under control.
Petzl is a very reliable brand where your life is going to be trusted ( and actually happened once that i fell down) your petal carabiner is is great to clip on. And convenient for cleaning the route. Wide strap helps so won’t twist therefore less probability to N clipping ( Z )
Good quality and easy to see on rock. I have an 11cm and 17cm and both are great. The dogbone is a little stiff, which is good imo bc it has some rigidity to break in. Bent gate is really easy to clip into.
