A Few Surprises to Overcome
Two issues I had with this product. First the wing nuts and bolts galled when I first tried to assemble the cart. Perhaps they used similar metals. I was able to solve this problem by applying grease to the bolts. There was nothing in the assembly instructions about lubricating the bolts before assembly. The second issues was the head on my bicycle pump would not fit on the air valve of the tires. The valves were too recessed. I solved this problem using an air pump I have for my bicycle shocks. The head in this pump did fit in the recessed valves. The cart is all set up and will most likely be a good product for transporting my Malibu 11.5 kayak from the car to the shore. I’m patiently waiting for warm weather to try it ou. The two issues were minor, but a buyer should be aware before purchase.
Kayak moving with ease
Great kayak/small boat cart! I have the small hard wheeel V shaped kayak from suspension as well. But for my flat bottom 75 lb 16.5 fr kayak, this is fabulous! Able to traverse sandy beaches with ease. A winner
