Should be Mandatory at Half Dome & Angels Landing
The US Park Service should REQUIRE anyone/everyone wishing to go up the cables at Half Dome to use a Via Ferrata kit. They could maintain a station at the base of the cables, where the kits would be handed out and then returned. If that young lady had been using a Via Ferrata kit two months ago, she'd be alive today. Everyone knows this truism; but people heep ricking their lives. This C.A.M.P. kit is among the best out there. The Via Ferrata at Red River Gorge is one of the best in the US for all ages and skill levels.
Sturdy device
Great quality, easy to use. I felt safe on Via Ferrata (Ouray, Upstream route)
