Sizing Notes
Allbirds fit true to size for most customers. If you have wide feet or prefer a roomier fit to accommodate toe splay, we suggest sizing up. If you are in between sizes we recommend sizing up for all styles except for Tree Runner styles (size down for those).

Already coming apart after three days of use
I got these last week. First of all they seem to attract dirt and within an hour of wearing them they looked filthy. The sides of the soles are all chewed up after a couple of days of use, and now there’s a spot where the sole is separating and I actually get grass and debris in there. This are simply terrible. I was just walking in them to get used to them, I can’t even imagine running in them. These won’t last another week- and they look terrible now.
Threads on the sole wore down really quickly
The treads on the sole wore down really fast especially on the fore foot area. I’ve only had the shoes for 2 months and wore them daily. For about 5 hours a day.
Different but not an improvement.
Tried to do too much, too fast. The previous Flyers just weren't solid enough for serious runners, so AllBirds rushed this "improvement" out. For starters, the sizing is longer, tighter, with less volume than the old model. There's improved cushioning on the heel, but that extra material is not abrasion resistant. But the biggest problem I had was that the minimalist, lightweight eyelets failed on both left and right shoes. On the one hand, it's good to see All Birds swinging for the fence. But I feel that this you needed a little bit more R&D and QA/QC
Soft Foam Wears Down Really Quick
This is my third pair of allbirds, I initially bought them because that hard rubber they used on the previous shoes was great for a casual bike commute shoe. These are subpar runners - I would just get a pair of Asics or New Balance for some actual running tech, but as a casual shoe they are great... with a couple major design issues. The foam is much softer, and after a week of urban wearing the angular rubber back is chipping and getting ragged. Additionally, I think the foam may soak up water? When I wear them out in the rain, and then get inside, my shoes squelch for a while like I am walking on wet sponges. Shoe is as comfortable as other allbirds, just some real bad design elements.
Like allbirds but these gave me blisters
A bit hard to write this since I have allbirds slip-ons which are SO comfortable and I love, but after just one run I have a giant blister on both my right and left feet. Also not a big fan of the eyelet design...rather than a traditional hole that you thread the shoelace through there are two thin slits (kind of an under-over design) that makes lacing your shoes challenging and inefficient. The shoes look good but I won't be running in them any more.
Sole falling apart within a months use
This is the first pair of allbirds I’ve ever had a problem with. I walk about 5-6 miles daily at work 5-6 days a week and the 3 pairs I have had prior to this have lasted 6 months to a year before needing replaced. This pair was obtained July 10th and is already starting to fall apart by July 29th. This is very disappointing and I will avoid this model like the plague going forward.
Great shoe if you can get it a great deal
Ran into this while at the store and was on clearance. I got the black one -- great as a lifestyle shoe with the occasional workout at a gym; very comfy, supportive, and upper does a great job molding and hugging my feet but I don't recommend running more than a few miles with these. I'm not a running expert but the side of my shin started to get sore. I tried this several more times but with same results. It's a great shoe and worth the clearance price but not at the regular price. It's a good looking shoe and I get a lot of comments but I think it serves more as a lifestyle and casual running shoe rather than a performance running shoe.
Not Horrible, But Not Worth the Price
I’ve owned 4 different pairs of Allbirds, all 4 of them different types. I love Allbirds and I continue buying from them because they are an environmentally conscious company. That being said, I was super excited when I saw this series come out. I ordered them and was very impressed with how quickly the order shipped. Unfortunately, I’ve only had them for about a week and they are already showing signs of wear. The sharp edges at the bottom of the shoe are very cool looking, but mine are definitely wearing down already. I’m not rough on my shoes at all, it’s just inevitable in this design. Also, there is a spot on the front of the shoe where it is clearly visible that my toe is wearing down the cloth of the top of the shoe. My last pair of Allbirds did this as well, but it took close to a year for that to happen. I keep my toenails trimmmed and filed but that doesn’t seem to matter in this case. Overall, the shoes are very comfortable and I love how they look, but they are NOT designed to last. Being the most expensive mens’ shoes on this site, and that they are running shoes, they should be far tougher than this.
They’re very narrow at the
They’re very narrow at the instep and bother due the pressure exerted by the plastic band that are in the middle of the shoes
Have worn maybe 3 times and already falling apart
The stitching in the rear of shoe is already shredding after two light wears and less than a month of having
