Nice jacket, terrible sizing

While this could have been a very nice jacket, the sizing is way too small and inconsistent with the sizing of other Marmot fleeces. I've attached a photo of the Leconte on top of a Rocklin. Both jackets are size "Small" and listed as "Regular Fit", yet the Leconte has a chest circumference of 38" and the Rocklin is 41". That's a whopping 3" of difference on what should be exactly the same. Also, the size chart says a small Locente should fit a chest up to 38", so if you are within the size chart this jacket will literally be skin tight and leave zero room for a shirt or baselayer underneath. This is obviously unacceptable and all it does is waste time and shipping. Just use standard sizing!

Weird bad sizing.

I bought a large for my 6'0" 200lb male body. I buy Larger for every thing. Couldn't get my arms into the sleeves wearing a lighter button down shirt without extensive pulling. Once my arms were finally in, the sleeves went most of the way down my fingers. You can see in the product pics how all the sleeves are pulled up. If there wasa thumbhole this might make sense, but even then it would be too long. I returned mine and won't try an XL as the sleeves might be even longer.

decent with nice lomg sleeves!

for a xxl its slim, the material gets balled up must not have a high rub strength or the type of fiber combo. i like the marmot long sleeve length!!

Men’s Laconte Fleece Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to fleece, warm, comfortable, has a stretch to it so easy to layer, washes well and doesn’t shrink, breathes really well, I have worn in a Detroit winter and a Arizona Fall, can’t recommend enough- I now have 2 of these because I can’t wait for one to come out of the wash.I swear by Marmot because all of their products are incredibly functional, durable, and comfortable with the high quality expected from Marmot.

Nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color. Was expecting a little but thicker/heavier fabric for the price, though, as could be a little warmer (when advertised as a jacket); I have sweatshirts & fleeces that are thicker/warmer than this. Usually buy from the men's due to women's sizes being too tight across the shoulders and too short in the sleeves and selection of colors in men's was better.

Well made but too snug

Like the fleece but the fit, although I'm very thin due to cancer, was still too snug. Marmot makes excellent products, but their proclivity, as well as that of other outdoor clothing makers like Patagonia, for ultra slim/tight fit is dumb, and counter-productive to luring would-be users.

Nice Jacket...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great light/mid jacket. I'm rather slim (6'3", ~170lbs) and the medium fit perfectly. Often, with my build, a medium fits great through the body but are too short in sleeve and body length. Would definitely buy again!

Perfect fit snd awesome for spring mornings and evenings. Will be great as a midlayer skiing as well. Im 6'1", 175 lb, a hiker, skier, tennis and pickleball player. I have a Med. This will be great for them all.

Perfect chill stopper

Great light layer, this is the second one I've bought in the past six months. So much fleece these days has an artificial feel to it, this is one of the very few exceptions that I've been able to find.
