Painfully pinches the top of your foot every step.
Typically a big fan of Danner goods. I have their boot and river shoes.. and was exited about these as a buckleless option for summer sandals with more arch support and good grip. In the end, the strap design is terribly uncomfortable and painfully pinches the top of my foot every step I take. There’s a tiny connector between the two straps that keep them close together - causing them to pinch. Unfortunate and seemingly avoidable design flaw.
mega grip sole is great. seems well built. shoe rubs top of my feet raw if i don't wear socks. on account of this, cant recommend.
As good as Danner boots!
Don’t you love amazing products !?, I do! And these sandals are just that! Absolute quality, thru and thru! Sturdy material, comfortable, they just look and feel and ARE solid made. You can definitely hike in these, of course they are made for walking. They do run big, so order a size smaller. I’m sz 11 and had to reorder 10. No cons here!
