I Originally purchased this item on vacation in Zion, Utah. I was just new to required reading glasses and awkwardly taking them on and off because I don’t need them for distance. These chums are a life saver. I keep them on my Wiley X’s 💯 percent of the time. They are sturdy and never come off unless I want to remove them. They are not bulky so it’s like there is nothing there. I read a lot while laying down and don’t even feel them behind my head or neck. I keep them around my neck all day while working for those moments when I need them. Gone are the days of slipping them in and out of a pocket or case only to scratch the lenses. I have worn them daily for a full year and they are still functioning. I’m happy to find them @ REI and will purchase another one for my second pair of glasses for the convenience of not having to switch them back and forth. These are a lightweight and simple design. Not too bulky. Waterproof.
