Basic, comfortable, pricey

My first Smartwool shirt. Usually too expensive, but got this on sale. Really comfortable and snug fit, but not tight-fitting. My one silly worry is that the design makes it look like a Star Trek uniform, and that at some point someone will come up to me and say, "Did you just teleport to this campground?"

Excellent lightweight layer

This is a great looking and comfortable base layer shirt. Nice looking and can be worn by itself but also layers great. It runs a bit large. I normally wear an XL but got this in L and it fits great: form fitting but not snug. If I got my normal size it would be a bit baggy. I wear this as a baselayer under a drysuit when kayaking and also for hiking and skiing. Nice, versatile top.

Excellent hiking top

As a female, I love this top for hiking in hot weather - I wear long sleeve for sun protection. This Smartwool is light and wicks moisture from my skin. This color combo is really cool looking too. I also have the version with the red siding.

Smartwool does it again!

This shirt is warm but ventilated in all the right places. I have used it as a base layer in the cold or it’s stylish enough to wear as a top up to about 75 Fahrenheit.

Not likely

I bought this shirt to hopefully use two ways, as a layering piece or by itself. I will probably only wear it for layering mainly because the crewneck opening is extremely wide. It's probably the hardest thing to determine when buying shirts like this online, it's not always obvious in the picture. Keep in mind, I don't want a turtleneck or to feel like I'm being strangled, but for something I would likely wear in cooler weather, I think he smaller diameter neck opening would be better. That said, I don't think the wide opening is a good look for me. Otherwise, the shirt is good in every other way.

Feels great, looks great.

Feels great, looks great. Although I have only had this shirt a few weeks, I love putting it on when its turn comes up (I rotate my shirts). I just ordered the "other" color combination.

This is the shirt for you!

I use this shirt for running and hiking. It is lightweight and quick to dry. Perfect for these activities. Bonus was having the color blocks on the sleeves and sides to keep it from being boring. Easy to wash and comes out looking new. Happy customer!

Filled The Bill

Got two of these to wear as an outer cycling shirt to bridge the early Fall conditions when it's too chilly for bare arms, but not yet cold enough for warmer gear. These fulfilled that need. Took a star off the rating because while the body of the shirt is a tad long (which I don't mind), the sleeves are a tad short (which I do mind).
