- Center lugs are raised and ramped for rolling efficiency; diamond-shaped lugs squeeze in for grip as they contact dirt, and then back out to shed debris
- Transition lugs are spaced out and vary in height to boost traction
- L-shaped side lugs dig in for grip while braking through corners, and then roll quickly when off the brakes
- Light & Supple casing ensures a comfortable ride
- Tubeless-ready design helps prevent flats while providing lower-pressure traction and comfort
- Always check with your rim manufacturer to verify rim and tire compatibility before assembly or use

Gravel Bike 700x42
2023 Salsa Warbird C: The Cannonballs are OEM on the Warbird. I generally ride paved country roads. So far they have about 350 miles on them (700 x 42)'s. Light, excellent rollers, good grip in dry and wet. Little pricey imo. Typically ride Panaracers. The Cannonballs are great too.
Not tough
They roll pretty fast, but I would not suggest the light and supple. They had a sidewall puncture at the end of a gravel race on some light single track. They left me running to the finish line. Get the beefier ones if you live in the mountains.
