Overall I like this tire!
Purchased in April for a GAP/C&O bikepacking trip. Completed that and have about 600mi. on them so far. The tread still looks terrific, haven't had a flat, and the ride has been fast and smooth. The tire absorbs rough terrain like roots, railroad tracks, and curbs. Overall, handling is excellent on roads and hardpack. Loose gravel has some initial slip but decent secondary recovery grip. But does not support aggressive riding like a knobby tire. Lastly, the load capacity is very good and so is the cost.
Great durable hybrid tire.
These are my go to tires when upgrading from factory tires for hybrid riding on asphalt and gravel.
More tread and surface area
I purchased the 600x38 to replace the stock 600x32 on my hybrid bicycle. I wanted more tread and surface area on the ground. I ride mostly gravel roads and rail trails, so these tires were a perfect choice. They installed easily and a nice quality tire. I ride with 70 psi to increase comfort and road contact. Very happy with this purchase.
