The Best Hat I Own
Great hat. Very comfortable. The inner band is comfortable and not too tight or loose. Stays in place while boating, at the beach, etc. The fabric lining on the brim provides great additional protection from rays. I have had a lot of this style hat over the years and this one is definitely the best.

Lasted one long weekend
I got this hat for an extended camping trip over the Memorial Day weekend, and I was excites to get it. It's a comfortable and good-looking hat. Durability is not its strong suit, though. The spot at the top of the hat where you grab it to put it and take it off—the place where hats are supposed to be grabbed—started cracking on day 2 of the trip. By the end of the weekend, you could fit two fingers through the holes on each side of the peak. I was gentle with this hat. I wore it for hours a day in the sun and gave it a nice place to rest without getting crunched at night. And it was well on its way to becoming a visor after its first ling weekend of use. Definitely a bummer.

Brittle, broke down in less than a week.

Similar to what some other reviews have said, the straw material was extremely brittle and started cracking within a few days of being worn. It immediately developed a large hole in the back of the crown and the brim was cracking as well. Had to throw it out after less than a week. It's too bad, because it is a great looking hat, but useless because of the weak material. Not worth the money, even on discount.

Hat

Ordered hat for a gift. It is decent quality. I was disappointed in the way it was packed. The box was small and the hat brim was warped. Luckily the brim relaxed a few days out of the box.

Love this hat.

Perfect hat for a day out on the water. I own a handful of Hemlock hats and my family and friends get a lot of use out of them.

Arrive in the appropriate sized shipping box. Great wide brim. Fits snug on my head.

Great Hat!

Great shade. The fabric helps keep my hair from getting snagged by any straw.
