Great saddle -- for some bikes and some people.

Saddles are hard to review because what works for one person might give other people pain. The Brooks B17S was my favorite saddle on a steel touring-type cargo e-bike that I had. They do take a while to break in. However on my current bikes I could not use this saddle because for one I was using a dropper post and the high profile of this saddle (leather saddles have a relatively high stack height) made the seat a bit too tall and on the other one I could not adjust it fore/aft enough because my preferred seatpost had a large clamp area and this saddle has a very short clamping area on the rail. I decided I'd rather change my saddle than the type of post I was using.
