Rock Shoes: Scarpa recommends you downsize 1/2 to 2 full sizes from street shoe size, though downsizing depends on shoe model, intended use and personal preference.

Ski Boots: All Scarpa ski bootsare measured in Mondo sizing. Highlighted (or not) sizes share the same shell size; the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

Bought a half size bigger and wore for 7 days in a row hiking around 10-13 miles per day. The traction is superb, and felt great cushion on the heels and great ankle support. The shoe runs a little narrow around the front, on ball of the foot , and after about 10 miles, I was wishing I had more cushion in the ball of the foot as well. I have high arches and had support there. It didn’t rain so shoes didn’t get wet, so can’t rate the waterproofing. I didn’t break them in before my 7 day hike, so they did very well , I didn’t get a single blister. Very light weight for packing
Great boots. These are the lightest hiking boots I found, great tread, comfortable. The toe box is narrow and after trying half size bigger and a whole size bigger from regular street shoes I went with the whole size bigger, and they fit great. I wear size 6 in street shoes and I purchased size 38 in these boots. They do not feel too big and my toes are not hitting the front coming down on steep inclines. For the first few hikes the cuff on one boot around the ankle was rubbing coming down the hill but that has resolved itself. I have now used them on rocks, sand trails and in snow and they performed great. I need arch support and these provide it (about 10 mm heel to toe drop according to the manufacturer). I do not yet have an opinion if they are in fact waterproof as claimed. They do stain easily but I consider that to be a minor issue.
Got these on sale and they are a steal! For reference, I have a narrow foot and low arch. I hiked several days straight in Zion Canyon with them brand new. The traction is excellent. My feet only hurt because of time on them. I didn’t get a single blister. I love how lightweight they are and they seem to resist the dust and dirt as well. I’m very happy with these boots.
good looking boot but there's a seam on the inside and rubs the outside of my ankle. Had to send back.
