SCARPA Makes A Great Shoe

This is a well-made hiking shoe, lightweight and sturdy; fit my feet perfectly (1.5 Euro size bigger than normal US size). Years ago, the Zen Pro was my introduction to SCARPA. That was my walk-around shoe and for bouldering. I ended up buying a replacement pair after wearing out the first. I would have bought a third-time replacement, but they're discontinued. So, I'm giving the Rush 2 a try because I'm not bouldering any longer but doing more hiking and I'm very pleased so far. If I can keep them clean, then they can double-duty as my walk-around shoe as well, especially since I never want to take them off.

It may work for you but not for me

This is a great looking shoe. My first impression out of the box was that I found my match and replacement from my current low cut GTX. Definitely lightweight for a Gore-Tex shoe without giving up material quality. These are the pros! Unfortunately for me, my heels felt out of control because of the extra cushion especially when landing on not so flat ground. I’m a solid 10 in my Asolo & Altras. I ordered a 43.5 which is equivalent to 10 1/3 US. Technically this shoe should be a good fit but on my first low technical decline both toes were up against the front. Mind you the tongue on these shoes are well made and have plenty of pad so one would think this would not happen. Should I go a size up? This is debatable but the sloppy heel control is not worth the gamble. I really wanted these to replace my Asolo’s because they have not been fair in owning up to their issue with glue failure. Sorry Scarpa I wished I could have said better. Quality wise the shoe is a 10 just not for me.

Nice but Narrow

Great construction and nice looking. Too Narrow for me. Wearing them around the house, they felt nice the first hour but then I could tell they weren't going to work. Just too tight and made the ball of my foot feel squished. Wanted them to work but sending them back. Bummer.

They look nice but the size is totally off, doesn't correspond at all with the description. They came with 1 number shorter, couldn't even try them as they were too tight.
