When I had them in hand, they were definitely not the nice (obvious) green here in the listing. It was green along the edge of the rand, but the sides and uppers, you had to search for the green- 1st disappointment. 2nd, the padding made them fit tight, and I have a slightly narrow foot. 3d, a bit disappointed in the support. Sure, it is a relatively stiff arch area, but I predict that it will loosen up and the slight lack of any arch contour in the shoe will exacerbate the low support. Too bad, having been a Fabiano to Scarpa fan for 40yrs.
Having read the other review, I felt compelled to add my thoughts. I have a wide foot. If you have the same issue, this shoe provides me more comfort and stability than previous shoes. The color isn't a factor for me, but comfort on the trail is.
