Tough Water Storage that doesn't leave a taste.

I've been a huge fan of dromedary bags. tough enough to get run over & yet can hold lots of water and shrink in size as you use it. i try to avoid jerry cans since they are huge even with a few oz left. but the problem has been that the dromedary bags start to taste funny after a few years. i was worried about these bags since they just look like they would smell & taste like kiddy pool water. but after a week in the sun i did not notice any plastic taste. i can't say how they will be in a few years as i've only been testing them for a few months in prep for Burningman. but they seem tough enough to replace all my water containers & dromedary bags this year. 4 stars only because i want to see how they will fare with tough use - winter camping & burningman dust/heat.

Perfect for canoe camping

Bought this water bag for a wilderness canoe trip. It was very easy to fill from the canoe and the camp tap was easy to install. Very well designed product.

Great system for quantity filtering in camp.

This is a great system when you want to filter a lot of water for camp. I connected to my MSR Thru-link and then transferred to a smaller clean bladder with an Aquatab (recommended in the area I was thru-hiking). The tab at the bottom was great to hang on the end of a branch for gravity filtration. Really liked the quality, accessibility and compatibility.

HydraPak Seeker: The Luxury of Clean Water in Camp

My initial impression: Wow! At under 7 oz....for a Full 6 Liters, it's hard not be amazed at this technology. Very Tough. 100% compatible with my Hiker h2o filter. Totally fits my "filter once & supply the camp" philosophy. This unit will beat ANY other lightweight water storage tech, and at a Great Price. Note: The included storage bag is much smaller than it appears in photographs; it's just to store the unit when empty. You will want an additional stuff sack for actually hanging the unit and dispensing water, as this will increase it's life and protect against damage from sun and use. (I recommend REI's 7"x15" StuffSack!) BTW: 6 liters is enough to do all your cooking; washing; hygiene; drinking in camp, plus a refill of your hiking water bladder(s)....all from just one trip to filter water. Remember: In Cali, By Law, you must camp a minimum of 100 yards from ANY natural water source -- Farther is Better! This product is really gonna help keep you hydrated, save you money, time and effort...AND...Keep You Legal.

Great product

Very durable and tough. Took this product on an overnight hike up in Hawaii. I was able to freeze the bag before I left which allowed me to have cold water at my camp site. No stress issues on the bag. Held up great even after a couple accidental drops. Great product.
