Cannot believe how good they work
I have had plantar fasciitis for almost 2 decades now & 3 surgeries later my right foot started hurting. My heel spurs & plantar fasciitis came back. These socks, I actually have 3 different pairs now are AMAZING. Wore them the 1st time on our vacation to Dollywood theme park in TN. More than 10 hours straight & my feet felt really good. No pain that day or evening or even the next day. Proved to hold up running through a park all day & on my feet walking miles. I was sold. Great product & I will be buying more. Thank you so much for these awesome socks. The only negative I would have to say is they are tight but I guess they have to be to make your feet feel this good
These socks helped me.
I was skeptical that these would work but I am desperate to relieve the pain in my foot so gave these a try. I am very pleased with how such a little thing can make such a huge difference. They don’t relieve all the pain but they do take away about 90% of it, which is a win in my book. I would have blue change 2 things about this sock. First, I would add more heel cushioning as that is where the majority of my leftover pain resides. The second would be to make them more breathable. I am a huge walker and hiker and by the end of the day, my feet are a bit sweaty in these socks. Other than that, I find these socks wonderful. I have been wearing them for a week now.
Disappointed
Really disappointed in the fit of these socks and the material. They are weirdly super thin near the heal cup and do not look as though they will last long term and also have too much material in the toe area of the sock but due to the compression are very hard to fully pull your foot into. Makes for a very awkward fit overall. While I appreciate the compression (I have other pairs of compression socks) they become weirdly painful to wear after awhile. I am hoping I can swap the 3 pack I purchased (they are very expensive after all) for one of the other Feeture socks as I do love the brand overall and have had good luck in the past with others socks in their lineup.
Did not Work and Painful!
First off I love Feetures socks! The Merino 10's have been my favorite pair of running socks! A while back I was experiencing plantar fascia pain while training for a marathon so I pickup up a pair of these sock to try out. At the time I found that they didn't seem to do anything to relieve the plantar fascia pain and just seemed slightly more uncomfortable in general. However last week at zero dark thirty in the morning I accidentally put this pair on again while getting ready for my morning training run and my feet were killing me by the end of the run. It appears they just don't work like they should for me! I can't personally recommend these socks for plantar fascia pain.
These socks are amazing!
I have metatarsalagia (capsulitis) in one foot and I bought these for running and biking (which also irritates my foot). They have made a huge difference--the support seems to be so much more helpful than cushioning in previous running socks. I have 3 pairs and I wash them constantly and never wear any other socks (sadly I have a drawer full of expensive merino wool running socks that I won't wear now). These socks, combined with a good pair of orthotic insoles that support the metatarsals and arches, have allowed me to continue to run and heal. I wish I'd know about them when I had PF.
Support is the Answer
I developed problems with one foot over the summer, which was just an inconvenience as I was out of school. However, it became a major issue when I went walking on vacation, which was immediately followed by returning to teaching. Standing and walking around my classroom all day produced crippling pain and made evenings a nightmare! I ordered these socks out of desperation. The first time I wore them was for a family trip to Disney World. They made the difference between having a nice time and the alternative - severe pain and immobility the following day. It hasn't resolved my problem...healing takes time after all, but it has provided improvement. I ordered more socks after the trip, but I really prefer this cushioned version compared to the plain ones.
Makes my feet feel good
I had pf a couple of years ago and it took forever to shake it. Been back into trail running 5-10 miles 2-3 times a week and trying these as a preemptive measure. I wear 11 1/2 running shoes and ordered large. I have fairly bony feet and these are almost difficult to get on because they’re so tight, but I think that’s a good thing. I’m concerned how good I’m going to be about keeping them out of the dryer. Only time will tell but so far I like them.
Very Good Socks
Bought these in size Med for my daughter. She wears a size 9 sneaker. These socks fit very snugly, so they take a while to get on the foot. I'm thinking this is due to the Plantar Fasciitis support. Didn't know if we should go up a size. Don't want them to be too long for the fit. The special padding for Plantar Fasciitis really supports the foot and helps reduce pain during the day while standing.
I love the feel of
I love the feel of these socks. They are very supportive. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have bought them before. It was at Christmas and they already had a hole in 2 of them. Hopefully these won't do that. I feel like it may have been a bad batch because it was in the same place, same foot on 2 pair of socks.
all day wear
I wear these all day, everyday, and at night :) They provide great support and compression. I haven't started running consistently yet, but I am on my feet 10+ hours a day at work and do not notice pain. When I get up in the morning, one or two stretches of the foot is all it takes to get going I am earning points for my second bundle!
