It’s hard to find the right orange that isn’t too bright or too dark to a point it’s red. This one is perfect! This orange on a backpack is hard to find, it’s very subtle . I love it! I’m so happy I made the purchase ! It’s a perfect size for a day hike. It’s my baby! Lol I highly recommend this color if your trying to pick a color out of your comfort zone. I can’t wait to add some miles on this backpack!
This is definitely the best day pack I’ve ever owned. I use this every day for my work commute and love how lightweight and streamlined it is. I can fit more in here than my previous 20 liter pack since it isn’t bulky with too many extra compartments. The main area is roomy enough to for everything that I need and the smaller pocket in the front (with its smaller interior pockets) fits all my smaller items. Even when it’s full, I can’t believe how light it feels on my back. The compression straps help this as well. I definitely recommend this product and will replace it with the same if it ever wears out.
Love it! It’s perfect! I use it as my gym bag/go bag/hiking pack. Not too big as to be clunky but not too small to where I feel like I’m searching through a bottomless pit for my crap. Would recommend it.
I needed a festival backpack that could carry a blatter and still have room for some extra items without feeling stuffed. This was the perfect backpack for it!
Good backpack Great price simple and lightweight with no extras good side pockets for water bottles comfortable back pad
I inaugurated the Nano 18 on a hot and humid New England summer hike. I am new to hydration pack but I like it that it stops me from gulping down the water. I filled it up with ice so the pack ended up with a lot of condensation but thanks to the dedicated section for hydration pack, nothing was leaking. The backpack itself is sturdy, good size for a day hike with camera, lenses, rain jacket, valuables, snacks, and still had more room. I do wish it had one more internal pocket to keep things organized. The backside is made to be airy, but it was way too hot and humid for that to work. I like the spark orange color as well.
I used this pack on a cruise to Mexico. The size of the pack was a great for days in port. I was able to fit my necessities for the day. The zippers are great. Love the icon teal color. I am a plus sized woman (2x). I had some difficulty sliding my arms back and forth through the straps. As days went by, this became increasingly annoying. I really like the bag, but I did end up replacing it with the 20 plus size version. The new bag fixes the issue with the shoulder straps. Thank you Gregory for having plus size options!
This is the perfect Disney World daypack. It could also be used for an overnight hiking trip. Pretty versatile for its size. The main compartment is deep for stuffing, and the outside pocket is great for more personal/easy to get to items. I also like the net interior pockets for holding my keys on the secure hook. I used it for a 4 day trip to Disney world and carried two refillable water bottles in the net side pockets. It has a compartment for a water bladder, but I used it for carrying stuff. Comfortable straps got me through the day, as did the breathable back. This is now my go to bag. Highly recommended!
Let me start by saying that I am a 74 yr. old hiker and have been hiking for almost 25 years. I have used the Gregory Jade 28 for many years. I decided on the Nano 18 because it's lighter with less bulk. I discovered that the smaller the pack, the less you take! Imagine that! The Nano holds my 3 liter bladder, a nice lunch, a 14 oz. Nalgene with an electrolyte drink, 2 light Smartwool tops and a rainjacket, as well as a first aid packet and a few other things: light Smarwool beanie, gloves, and my eyeglass case. It seems to do the trick! I'm happy with it and will keep it! I do like the Gregory packs! Thanks!
The only thing I wish it had was some sort of divider or pocket in the larger compartment. I like to use it to carry when I'm on my bicycle. It's not a big deal if that's the only thing in the larger compartment, but that means everything else (keys, wallet, cellphone, lights, gloves, bike lock, etc.) must be stuffed into the smaller pocket. Same if I take a laptop computer. I don't like to put it in the large compartment unsecured with other items. If there were a divider, I could use the large compartment to secure things that need to be kept separate. That said, it has been a great bag. The size is perfect for taking a few necessities on bike rides, without being too bulky.
