Quality light jacket
Received free product
This is a great thin jacket that seems really well made by Arc’teryx with quality zippers, nice pockets, and generous hood. While I wouldn't typically have chosen the color Inertia on my own - at first, it looked brown but in the full sun, it looks more raisin-purple - the color ended up growing on me after a few wears and now I quite like it! I'm 5'3", 120-125 lbs with broad climber shoulders and the Small fits well with room for layer (I wore this jacket over a non-hooded puffy as additional protection against some light rain). If I was looking for a more fitted look, I might size down to an XS. That being said, I'll likely end up using this jacket more in the summer when I'm out climbing for the day and need some clothing protection against mosquitoes, sun, or light wind and rain. I don't think it would provide too much warmth on its own, but it's a good light layer for warm days!

Not at all satisfied
I ordered this jacket- it looked just like the jacket I needed. I was disappointed to find the sleeves were way too long and the waist was very snug. I am 5'2 and 104 pounds and I have several size small Arc'teryx jackets. This seemed very much like a second which I stated when I requested a return but I still was charged $5.99 for the return.

Quality lightweight jacket and layering piece

Received free product

This jacket is a great lightweight layering piece and has been a helpful addition to my hiking and running wardrobe. I’ve had the jacket for about 3 weeks now and have used it about 3-4 times. It is fairly form fitting and fits true to size and I appreciate the details that have gone into the construction. The cuffs have a small amount of elastic which helps them sit comfortably at my wrist line without being overly tight or cumbersome. I have a long torso and the length of the jacket works well for my frame and I haven’t had any trouble with it riding up when running or walking which is an issue I regularly run into with activewear. I haven’t used the jacket in rainy conditions yet so I can’t really speak to its water resistance but am cautiously optimistic about how it will do based on spilling some of my water bottle on the sleeve and remaining completely dry. The hood of the jacket also frames my face nicely and doesn’t interfere with my sight lines when in use. Overall, I am very pleased with this jacket and look forward to using it further as we transition into the cooler temps of fall. I received this product for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review.

Súper light weight

Received free product

This jacket is super light weight and comfortable. Doesn’t make that loud wind breaker noise either. Easily packs into my pack without taking up room. Wind proof too. I haven’t had a chance to test it in the rain yet. It’s true to size and has that tailored look (a bit cinched in at the waist) so you can tell it’s women’s and not men’s. I’m XS/S. The XS is perfect for warmer weather when I don’t need to layer with a fleece. However if you want to wear a fleece or thick hoodie underneath then go with you bigger size. I kinda wish the Arc’teryx symbol was on the front

Versatile midlayer for cragg and alpine adventures

This hoody has quickly become my go-to midlayer for both cragging and long, alpine adventures. It's incredibly lightweight and breathable, making it easy to layer over or under other pieces. The hood fits comfortably over a helmet and multiple layers, which is a big plus. I also love the color—it's stylish enough to wear around town when I'm not out in the mountains.

Lightweight, quiet, AND weather resistant!

Received free product

This jacket has been my go-to for early morning dog walks/hikes when the weather is humid and cool. It’s been great layered over a t-shirt with weather in the 50s - thin but surprisingly warm when on the move. And weather resistant! The pups and I were stuck in a downpour and I was happy to return home with a dry shirt underneath. I’m 5’9”/150lbs - medium has been a great fit for warmer conditions, but I would size up if any layering is your intention. I am broad shouldered with long arms and thrilled the sleeves are a perfect length. I’ve been very satisfied with the design and performance- the material is thin with some stretch and although it has the potential to be “swishy”, it’s not loud (or even noticeable) on the move. The hood fits well and is not so heavy to pull the jacket back if partially unzipped. When it’s fully unzipped, the front tends to flip open since the fabric is so lightweight. Overall initial impressions- I’m very happy with this jacket and looking forward to using it well into the fall.

New go-to lightweight outdoor jacket

Received free product

This jacket is what it advertises: lightweight, water resistant, wind resistant, and breathable. I wore it twice on a snow hike in the angeles mountains and easy trail walk in Washington state, with only a long sleeve underneath. I felt comfortably warm and light in both settings. It folds up well so it doesn't take up much room in a duffel bag. Just a heads up that the inside black mesh are not inside pockets; they are the pockets that you access from outside the jacket. I made that mistake when I thought it was an inside pocket and watched my cell phone dropped through -- good thing for strong cases!

Lightweight, breathable, packable

Received free product

My new favorite running jacket for the shoulder season (spring, fall). It's ultra lightweight, pliable and breathable -- it provides just enough warmth without overheating. I can't say enough about how flexible and soft the material is -- it's totally different from other windbreakers or lightweight running jackets that feel like you're wearing plastic or a coated canvas. No issues with chafing or too much bounce. Folds up small for easy storage. I haven't run with it in the rain, so can't comment on the water resistance. But for wind, this was great. Love the color options too. The only thing I would add is reflective detailing.

one of the best from Arcteryx light weight

I love this jacket. It’s very lightweight wind blocker, fold nicely into small pack into my bag or backpack. I use this in a warmer weather condition like in SoCal when morning chill exists but can get warm fast towards noon time. Fit is great and stylish, i am about 5’2 108lb workout daily, I tend to wear S across pretty much all Arcteryx jackets, however, I have an XS and an S in 2 colors on this jacket, XS is better fit in my opinion but I got an S in black so i can wear something thicker underneath.

Great Lightweight Jacket

Received free product

This jacket is a great lightweight option for the start of a morning hike. You can easily stuff it in your pack and not take up too much space. It also fits me great. I usually have a problem with the sleeves of women’s smalls being to short, but this jacket is perfect. It survives a quick rain shower as well as a backup option to an actual rain jacket.
