Solid summer short
Excellent fit and cut. Maybe run a little tight in the waist and hips, slim through the leg. The new AP Active fabric is amazing. Its super soft, breathable, has great stretch. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it won't fit in those pockets (or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.
Good shorts, terrible pockets.
I really like these shorts, they fit well and feel good. However, the pockets are atrocious. They are wider than they are deep causing my phone to fall horizontally and limit my movement both while standing, and sitting. I don’t know who or what was used to test the pockets but priority in 2024 should be to comfortably fit a smartphone.
Nice style, not breathable
Sizing is slightly smaller than the pants version, my husband wears 33 for the pants, he had to size up to 34 for this shorts. The shorts look very nice on him, slim and well cut. However the material feels plastic and not breathable, it’s not comfortable on hot days. I like the materials for women’s pants/shorts better
The go to short.
These shorts are great. I wear them while doing mostly everything. They are a nice strong material and a great fit! I got the 7 in inseam size 32. Im about 170 and 5 10.
Bad stitching
Great fit, functionality, and comfort. But after 2 weeks of steady use, the stitching is giving away in the back which leads to small holes.
Nice shorts
Nice shorts. Quality is excellent. Pockets are shallow as mentioned in other reviews. A phone just fits in front pocket.

Loose stitches on right leg. Easily visible defect. Great shorts otherwise. My second pair.
