Best sling out there. Back is super padded. Shoulder strap is padded. Great if you want to ditch the backpack and go minimize with a sling. This sling can carry all your essentials. I’m a teacher and I love it. It is my new go to for work and love the size of it.

Neat Piece of Travel Gear, With One Big(ish) Flaw
The voyager sling is a nifty piece of travel gear, especially if you've grown tired of carrying a daypack as your personal carry-on bag. This pack fills that niche when you want your bag to actually fit in the space "under the seat in front of you." An iPad Pro 12.9" tablet will easily fit inside the padded tablet sleeve. When the tablet is also inside a protective case it will still fit, but just barely. The main compartment is well organized with four storage options: two unpadded pockets, a zippered pocket with a brushed lining for your phone or various small items, and also a larger mesh pocket with a zipper. On the outside the bag, there is a single, good sized pocket with lining and zippered access. There are a couple of useful tie down loops on the front of the bag, and a nylon webbing strip with eight clip-on tabs. There is a carry handle on the top of the bag. The sling strap is adequately padded and the fabric on the bottom side is a bit grippy, which is appreciated. The single strap fits fairly well across the chest, though as other's have pointed out, you can only wear the pack with the strap across your right shoulder. Not a big deal for me, and the pack is comfortable enough slung just over a single shoulder for shorter distances. The sling has a single pocket which is big enough for sunglasses, tissues, and/or keys. I'm assuming the small stabilizing strap is used when cycling or running through the airport. Thankfully, the small strap can be stowed away when not in use. The same cannot be said for the main strap, which leads to my only criticism. Not being able to stow or detach the main strap is an annoying flaw. When you want to use the carrying handle, the strap sticks out awkwardly and can easily snag on armrests or other offending "hooks." It's the one flaw in an otherwise really well thought out small travel bag.
