I will be returning... (the vest)

I was disappointed with this vest though was hopeful I could make it work due to the sale price. - It is listed as compatible with a reservoir but there are no ways to secure your tube on the vest front. -The drawstring pouch style is convenient but there is no toggle, forcing you to make a loose tie each time you close your pack. (I found this inconvenient and something that would get in the way of my hands during cold runs) -The zipper "phone pocket" was not compatible with a Samsung S20. - The biggest issue: It bounced like nobody's business despite rearranging and even eliminating a reservoir and filling empty volume with a wind shell.

Great vest overall but loops broke quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product for a handful of long runs and 2 50ks before the loops that support the water flasks broke. The vest is great and a great design for the mountains but these loops broke very quickly and make it more difficult to secure water flasks.

Comfortable, Organized Running Vest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this vest - plenty of room for snacks, water, dog leash/treats, headlamp, gloves, bear spray ect. My phone (a relatively small phone) doesn't easily fit in the zippered pocket even without a phone case. Typically, I just stuff my phone in one of the pockets around the ribs and it's secure enough there. On my body, the vest doesn't move around much. I do find that when the bottles are half full, the mouth pieces need to get tucked down to minimize floppy movement. I'm 5'7/155lbs and have a small bosom. I purchased the size small and have it synched almost all the way down.

Defective water bottles

I have been using this vest for about a month while training for my ultramarathon. It comes with two soft flasks. After just a few runs I would notice that the area near the water bottles was getting very wet. I first wrote it off as just sweat. However, eventually it became apparent that both water flasks were defective. They both leak at the seam. I contacted north face about getting a possible replacement for just the cheap water bottles. I talked with customer service and warranty department. In the end they want me to either pay for shipping to Texas so that northface can confirm they are defective (I mean, come on. The shipping alone would be more than the value of the bottles) or drive to my nearest northface store (which isn't close) so that they can ship it to Texas. All I want is 2 working water bottles. I will be recommending all my other ultra friends to stay away from this company. I suggest you do the same.

Not made for larger runners

I'm 5'10" 200 lbs and usually a Large/XL in TNF fits me well. I bought this vest in an XL and it was too tight even with the straps at their loosest setting. Otherwise seems like a good product but just wanted to advise the vest is not designed for larger runners.

A great first experience with a hydration vest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the first time I have used a vest vs a full hydration pack and I love it. At first I thought it was too big, but once I took the time to consider all the straps and adjustments, it is teh perfect fit (true to shirt size)

Comfy, good ventilation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great adjustability. A little bouncy with both bottles full (similar to other vests) but no chafing on a 3-hr trail run. Comfortably held an extra bottle and a jacket in the back. I'm 5'5"W, xs.

I would buy again and recommend highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great running vest. Comfortable and durable. Ability to customize my set up is a game changer.

No waterproof pocket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If this vest had a waterproof pocket it would get 5 stars. It does not which is frustrating.
