Great for tall people--maybe 6'2" and over?

The fabric is amazing, like the crewneck. It is super soft and cozy, and looks more like a sweater than like super techie gear, which is great. I wish Prana made women's clothing in this fabric! BUT his hoodie is way too long. My husband always wears a large and is 5'11". He owns the Prana Altitude Tracker crewneck in a large and it fits great. But the hoodie is so long it covers his entire fly and his entire butt, so it looks like a tunic. He has a pretty big ape index so maybe he has a shorter torso and longer legs than average, but he does not usually have this issue in a large sweater, shirt, etc. Even for casual wear, it looks way too long and isn't comfortable. It fits fine on his broad shoulders. So if someone is taller than 6' or has short legs and a long torso it might work.

The good, the bad, the ugly

I've spent a lot of time in the apparel end of the outdoor industry and was counting on good design from Prana when I came to search for a comfy, cotton hoody. While the fabric is very comfortable. the overall design is good although how hard it it to design a cotton hoody! Unfortunately, not shown well in the photos, the pockets are dopey. They bag out and drape poorly. Dumb design! In my experience, designers, given license to do as they wish, will redesign proven styles to put their mark on something new. More often than not, they fail because proven designs work for a reason. Sorry...this one failed. I'm keeping it because it is just a sweatshirt, after all. Prana should have known better before they went into production with this piece.

My new favorite hoodie!

This hoodie is exactly what I wanted! I don’t understand some of the lower reviews; I love it for most of the same reasons that others didn’t like it. Roomy fit with a loose, straight hem. Plus, Prana is one of the few clothing companies that actually makes their long-sleeves, long enough! No constant tugging at the sleeves or hem to keep them from riding up. The pocket is not too high, but it is deep and roomy. Nothing will be falling out, even during high activity. Great hoodie!

Awesome material, very weird fit and pocket.

Awesome material, perfect weight and level of warmth, great look on the outside and great soft feel on the inside. Unfortunately the front pocket is HUGE which makes it awkward to put your hands in it unlike a “normal” hoodie pocket. The holes are just way up high and out to the side, it’s not a natural position. It also adds an extremely blocky / chunky fit around the midsection, much more so than a normal hoodie. And I am not exactly a thin guy - athletic 6’ 180lbs with a little fluff around the middle, I got a medium of this and I think even the small might fit better given how loose it fits, while I am a comfy L / tight M in prana T shirts. This would be 5/5 with a slightly more tapered torso and a normally shaped hoodie pocket. Would buy 3 of these in a normal cut/pocket. Nicest looking hoodie I’ve ever had.

Nice yoga hoody

Purchased this hoody to use for less active yoga sessions. it does a great job for that. It's comfortable, not too thick, has a very soft feel, and wicks moisture well. I like that it has a more baggy than athletic fit for this reason. It also does not ride up, or down, on you when doing inversions and positions such as down dog

Nice material. Weird fit.

Gigantic front pocket. Confusing fit, very loose torso with athletic arms and shoulders. Might have to return this one.
