Only 7% wool, pomegranate purple is pretty sheer
No, I do not recommend this product
I have a a pair of the wool Wild Rye base layer bottoms and love them, so thought I'd give these a try. I didn't read the description closely when I purchased these on sale, and now see they're only 7% wool, which was a bummer for me. I really like this purple color, but the light color and thin fabric means they're very see through. This is a bummer- I can deal with sheerness on top, but don't really want my underwear totally visible with these (even a thong would be very visible), even as base layers- so unfortunately they're getting returned.

comfy and lightweight, only 7% merino wool
Yes , I recommend this product
This product is only 7% merino, I feel like the description is a bit misleading stating it is a merino blend. The material breakdown is 52% repreve recycled poly (unifi), 34% bio polyester, 7% merino wool, and 7% spandex. Aside from that this is a nice comfy and lightweight base layer. The black color on the top and bottom feels breathable and soft. The pattern area feels a slightly more of a “scratchy” feel . Looking forward to using this on the slopes. I ordered a size 10 and it fits great, for reception I am 5’2” with a short torso and larger chest, and weigh 181 lbs.
