I’ve heard Hokas are one of the most comfortable shoes but I was never a fan of their designs. Then these came out and I had to get them. They’re incredibly comfortable and the colors look exactly as pictured. I usually wear a 8 Womens in regular shoes and size up to an 8.5 for hiking shoes for feet swelling. I got these in 8.5 and it’s perfect with my hiking socks. The reason for 4 stars is that they don’t have the best grip for rainy days. I took this on a trail that has some paved areas like the one in the picture and wooden bridges crossing streams. It was sprinkling rain and I had to walk carefully because I was slipping a little. Wasn’t a problem on wet unpaved trails but something to keep in mind!
This is my second pair of Hokas, and I was honestly nervous about buying them because the first pair were not terribly comfortable. But the partnership with Cotopaxi drew me in. I'm a sucker for fun colors. Bottom line: I love them! They are much more "squishy" than my other Hokay running shoes. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the colors, too. These will look clean even when they aren't, and they are just incredibly comfortable. I've already clocked some miles on them, and I've had no trouble with blisters or discomfort at all, and the Vibram knobby soles mean you won't ever miss a step. The only note I have is for women. I have a pretty narrow foot (and I'm a girl), so the unisex sizing makes them a bit wide in both the toe bed and the arch area. I've dealt with that my whole life, so it doesn't bother me. I just lace up as tightly as I can. These will be shoes I keep for many years to come!
Not only does this shoe come in a wicked color way, but the gender neutrality is incredible. The additional pair of orange laces even allows for a little level of personalization. These shoes can be worn for just about anything. Even though these shoes are mostly meant for the trails, I’ve decided to use them for something a little different. As a CNA, I’m on my feet for very long shifts and my feet tend to get wet often. The comfort and support they provide for hiking works perfect for being on my feet for 12+ hours and the water resistance is just the cherry on top. An all around perfect shoe for any occasion and I’m obsessed. Combining two fantastic brands could only lead to a pair of shoes that are this good.
These are actually my first pair of Hoka’s and originally I was going to purchase these directly from Cotopaxi. However, I saw REI also sold these. During my lunch hour I went to try these on and fell in love. I have slowly become a sneaker head. I’ve found quite a lot of shoes are just not great for standing for long periods of time and lately I have been having severe heel pain. My first day of wearing this shoe 9+ hours i had zero heel pain. And when I say zero heel pain, I mean, my feet, didn’t even feel like I had been standing all day. I know the price is kind of alarming, but do yourself a favor and buy this shoe ASAP. Not only does it look good. It’s great for your feet.
I love Cotopaxi and have always wanted to try Hokas — these were the perfect opportunity and I love them so far! Very comfortable for walking trails and the colors are beautiful in person!
My son loves the shoes and planned to wear them both on the trail and in the city, but the lace tab on one shoe broke within the first 2 weeks when we were doing moderate hiking in the Pacific NW. We're exchanging for the same shoe and fingers crossed it was a one-off problem.
Sooo comfortable!!! Can’t wait to try them on the trails! But I’ve worn them at work.
Fun shoes ! Love both of these brands! I sized down from an 8 to an 7.5 because many people told me at physical therapy they ran big. I ordered both sizes just incase and the 8's seemed like clown shoes on me lol but the 7.5's are just right there.
Super comfortable sneaker. My first pair of Hoka's and i'm satisfied. I wear a size 11 in Nike's and when I put these on they felt the same. Colorway is dope and i'm seriously thinking of buying a second pair because I know i'm going to wear these death lol. Keep this collab up Cotopaxi and Hoka!
Unisex sizing was interesting so I had to dock a star. Purchased my normal women’s size 7.5 as I am always a true 7.5. There was quite a bit of room/too big. Had to return for a size 7 (tried the shoe on, only on one foot and it fit). Wore the shoes out on travel for first time, the right shoe fits and the left shoe is too small. Unfortunate, it hurts my big toe. They are comfortable and cute otherwise.
