My daughter's favorite pants

Received free product

My daughter wears a youth 12-14 or typically large in youth/junior sizing. These pants fit her perfectly in large. She has been wearing them off and on for a few weeks for a variety of activities including day to day, school, hiking, and playdates with friends. She loves having both regular pants pockets and the zipper pocket. The only constructive feedback she had is she'd prefer the drawstring to be on the outside of the slacks instead of facing inward toward her skin.

Excellent all around

Received free product

These pants are all around solid. They wash well, are lightweight, un-restricting, and handle the craziness of my kids well. We used them in Disney during the more temperate weather of early February and found them perfect throughout the chilly mornings and cooler evenings. Being lightweight the warmth was reported by my 6 year old as “I’m not cold” and “why do you keep asking about my pants.” He wasn’t sweating or anything - so they wore well from 50’s through mid 70’s temps.

Good pants, although my son is picky

Received free product

My 9 year old son is picky about his clothing, possibly due to some mild processing issues, and getting him to wear pants is a chore. Forget about jeans; he spends most of his time in gym shorts and tech tees. He thought these pants were "fine", but he hasn't gone back to wearing them after the first couple of uses. They don't seem to bother him much, although he would prefer if they didn't have elastic cuffs (why do they?). If they were shorts, he would love them. They fit true to size and seem durable enough, and the zipper pocket is a nice feature. Overall, I'd say they are pants, nothing special, but if you think this is the type of product you need, you won't be disappointed.

Great comfy pants

Received free product

These are excellent lightweight quick dry pants. I thought my kid would use them mostly for hiking, but he picks them out from his drawer whenever he sees them. The jogger style is nice because if they are a little too long, the pants don't drag on the ground. These pants also have a functional drawstring. My kid is exactly average size for a 6.5 year old boy and the medium fits well with room to grow. This is accurate to the size chart. These pants are pretty lightweight so best for warmer or weather or active days. They are loose enough that you could add a base layer pretty easily. My kid has worn them at least 5 times now in various conditions including hiking in the desert with rocks and cacti without issue. He LOVES the little zipper pocket for treasures. I will definitely buy more.

Good Athletic Pants for Cooler Weather

Received free product

My twins were divided about these pants. One girl adored them- she leapt, crawled, and climbed around the house in them. The zippered pocket was a fun discovery for her. However, it's winter for us and even with temperatures in the 40s the pants weren't warm enough for her. Most days they were used instead of sweatpants for short trips to indoor activities. But she is wearing them when she can! I expect come spring they'll be her default walking and hiking pants. The other twin really disliked the texture and sound of the fabric. The material is soft and flexible, but there's a "tooth" to it that I think bothered her. When walking it makes a gentle "swish" sound. If you're purchasing this online it's definitely something to consider. Speaking as the parent, the pants have been easy to keep clean and care for. They fold up really well into our activities bag! If I could get both kids to wear them, I'd happily use them instead of bulky fleece sweats. For sizing, definitely use measurements and not the usually categories (S, M, etc).

Pants (good) reeks of perfume (ugh bad)

The pants are a 5 star BUT I received a returned item smelling of perfume. I tried to wash it out bc I like the pants, unfortunately the waistband and body area still stinks. People if you try on clothes and return them, be clean and don't wear your stinky perfume. Yes, women wear boy's size clothes, I would return these, but now after trying to get the horrible smell out, can't.

Nice pants

Received free product

These pants are light weight and comfortable. My son liked the style, drawstring, and pockets. Only downside was the sizing seemed to run on the large side - needed to size down.

Durable and Practical

We put this to the test on two boys (ages 11 & 13) as 2 of their 4 pairs of pants for a world trip. Three months in and very hard use - no damage except a run-in with a bike chain, easy to wash, easy to dry, durable and comfortable. Worth the money!
