These REI pants were great!
From a parental perspective, I'm quite happy with these. Good fit, good look, and they're holding up well. However, I'm going to switch this one up a bit and let the kiddo tell you about these pants all by herself: I liked these pants very much because they were comfortable, and not tight on my skin. They are good for working out, because they have enough room to move, and they aren’t baggy either. The pants are just in between. Pros- • They are loose and comfortable • They are amazing for working out • They breathe very well • The material feels smooth and comfortable Cons- • I didn’t really like the color I enjoyed these pants very much, with my only con as I didn’t like the color. Other people might like the color so, my overall review on these pants is, they are great pants, great for working out, and even hanging around at the house, I loved them!
Perfect for Adventures and Everyday Life
The perfect hiking and everyday pants for the explorer in your family! These are my grandson’s favorite pants. He has outgrown two pairs and is now on his third pair! They are his “go to” pants for school and adventures. They launder great and look fantastic right out of the dryer. These pants are durable, comfortable and stylish. These pants were provided by REI for my evaluation.
Great summer pants for all my kiddo's adventures
Kiddo received these and hasn't taken them off since. He mentioned he loves how lightweight they feel, and said he forgot he was even wearing them. The material seems pretty durable for how thin it is, but we will see with the amount of wear this kid can put on clothes. He loves, loves, loves, the color. It's like a gray-blue-greenish, colder type color. Great pockets for all of his rocks that he likes to collect. Overall we think these will be excellent summer pants that will provide protection from the sun but not be too hot.
Great for little ones
Our young one was very excited about these pants and so am I. They are lightweight and the 4-way stretch makes them comfortable for a lot of activities. They are quick drying if the DWR gets soaked through so they are ideal for fun involving water or sweat. Abrasion resistant is a must with young kids always running around, falling, and scraping their knees. The sizing was a little big so I would try them on in store if possible. The zipper pocket is what made our little one the happiest. He could put all kinds of rocks, leaves or sticks in them. Overall, I would recommend these pants
Good warm weather pants
This is coming from my son who used these (we live in Colorado skiing is still going strong): I used them for two days straight. This includes a sleepover. They are really breathable and stretch well. Pockets are comfortable. No funny pressure points/pinches.
Versatile pair of pants that my son loves
My 8 year old is a big fan of these pants, perfect for spring. They are thin but that makes them good for athletic activity. He tested them with water and was impressed how the water beaded on the legs and didn't get absorbed.
Quick dry and lightweight, buy these!
I'm a petite woman who has an impossible time finding hiking pants that fit. Wore these for 5 days straight on a hut to hut trek in Italy and they were awesome! M and L both fit for a 5' 1" 105 lb frame, M a little more snug, L looser fit. Dried quick after getting totally drenched in the rain and held up to multiple via ferrata.
