To start, I like these bibs alot. They fill a gap in my kit between my full on winter tights and warmer weather bibs. The material is nice next to your skin but lacks a bit of support around the thighs. It feels more like a very thick pair of leggings than a compression garment. I like the Pearl Izumi chamois. It's not the best out there but its among the best at this price point. I did a longish ride over the weekend - about 5 hours - and didn't experience and hot spots or other discomfort. Starting temps for that ride were in the high 30s Farenheit and it was into the mid 50s by the end. These bibs fit that temp slot perfectly. Any warmer and the bibs would cause me to start overheating.
The 3/4 bib is great and fits well. The bib however had a strap defect/sewed on twisted causing it to not lay flat. Pearl Izumi is however replacing it which I am happy about.
