My favorite running cap
The combination of thoughtful details and style makes this cap a favorite. Love the fun color combos and 5-panel cut. Lightweight with tons of ventilation make it almost as good as no cap at all, and the sweatband does a pretty good job wicking sweat—even for a super sweaty person who absolutely NEEDS a dedicated face sweat solution. The crushable brim keeps the sun off my eyes (and the black underside to cut glare is a nice touch you don’t see in most other caps), and it makes a quick post-run rinse under water easy. After a squeeze I’ll shape the brim a bit and let it air dry. If you encounter strong winds frequently or prefer more coverage, you might not like the difference from a rigid brim. For me, I can’t think of a single thing I’d want to change, aside from adding more mixed-color combos!
Breathable but drippy
I like this hat! It’s really lightweight and breathable. It’s also really cute so I wear it out and about when I’m not running. The only thing I don’t like about it is when I’m running in hot weather and sweating a lot, the brim of the hat soaks up all my sweat and it starts dripping on my face. I have to wring it out pretty often.
Fits my big head
I wear a size XL hat, 7 1/2"-7 3/4", and sometimes this style hat doesn't fit me, but this one is super adjustable. It's weightless. The brim is stiff enough to keep its shape but not extremely stiff like some hats of this type. It's not summer yet so I can't comment on its sweat absorption, but I can tell its good and breathable as only the sweatband is making my forehead warmer, but my head feels about the same. When I remove the hat and feel it, the sweatband has been warmed by my head heat, but the mesh part of the hat doesn't feel warm. I think it'll stay on for bike riding only if I'm sweating and making my forehead sticky, but it would be fine for running. I really hate wearing hats because they make me so hot, but I think this one will work.
obsessed
Not gonna lie this was definitely an impulse buy, I was in the store to look at socks and shoes and this hat caught my eye. Provides a good amount of shade, it’s flexible enough so that I can pack it literally anywhere ideal option for backpacking, and the color is nice. I break out pretty easily from sweat, so I’m also happy to report that it washes well.
Perfect low-profile fit, very airy
I got this cap for trail running on hot days and it did not disappoint. It was super breathable + airy compared to my other hats (OR swift), and the soft short bill actually is very comfortable vs a hard billed hat. The sweat band prevents sweat from running down onto my face. I like the short bill look but it doesn't offer as much coverage as a longer bill - this wasn't a problem for me as I always wear sunglasses.
Vents heat
While the mesh is breathable and lets out the heat, the bill is tiny and doesn’t really fit the shape of my head. Maybe I have a weird sized head but it feels and looks more like a toddlers hat. (Per my partner and mother)
Very narrow brim
A good fit for a person with a narrow head. If your forehead is average or larger the brim just doesn't provide much coverage and looks a little goofy. The construction is solid though, so if you have a narrow face you might like this cap.
All around great hat for running
This hat is so comfortable and keeps me cool on my runs. It is lightweight while keeping my hair out of my face as well. I look forward to some hot summer runs with this hat!
Great for ultra running
Super lightweight and bill can be easily flipped up or down. Also easy to wear with a headlamp which is a must for ultra use.
Small bill
Bill is really small, but if you like that then get it, just know it looks kinda strange when worn forward
