[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Pro 2 and really liked it and got some pb's in it. When I first ran in this I did like it, but at first wasn't getting that special feeling. However after a few runs it's there, so either I needed to get use to it or a break in period was required. Great shoe now though!
I have been running in ultraboosts for years, but read about these Adios Pros in a running blog and decided to treat myself and splurge to buy them. Let me say these shoes are 100% worth the hype! I ordered these and also the prime x strung to compare the two. The prime x strung had a LOT of cushion and feels like running on platform springs, but they felt a little unstable to me. I have a wiggly ankle and it felt like there would have been a stability issue for me if I kept the prime x strung. The Adios Pro are like the Cinderella slipper of running shoes!! They feel amazing! The contour of the shoe literally propels me forward with every step, & the cushion is incredible, without being “too much”. The overall look of the shoe is perfection. They don’t look like chunky space shoes like a lot of shoes do these days, they are just 100% perfect! If you are playing with the idea of getting these shoes, stop thinking and just buy them. You will be so happy you did!! I kind of want to buy another pair to keep in the box for when I need new shoes again, just in case I can’t get more of these when the time comes lol. So obsessed!
Very surprised with the comfort throughout the foot, especially in the part of the metatarsals and an excellent grip in the upper part of the foot. I have a flat foot and in general tennis gives a very comfortable support when doing low times in zone 2 and 3 I did not feel fatigue at any time, very satisfied with the first long run. 5 points to describe them: 1. Excellent return response in fast times. 2. Great comfort in the upper part of the foot. 3. Excellent grip and comfort on the outside of the foot. 4. Weight more than suitable for short and long races. 5. Quality ventilation for high temperatures above 80 degrees F.
This is my third pair of the Adidas Pro 3. I have all my PR’s in these shoes from 5KM all the way up to the Marathon distance. I purchase my normal running shoe size and recommend retying them after your first wear with a double knot to get the perfect lockdown. These shoes last many races and are still comfortable and responsive, they give the perfect pop to propel you forward and keep you nimble and efficient on your toes. I typically wear my racing shoes for 1-2 medium distance run around 10-16KM to break them in before a half or full marathon. If they keep releasing new colours I’ll keep buying them!
I purchased the Adidas Adizero Pro for my upcoming College Cross-Country season. This was my first time using adidas as running shoes. First of all, if you have a narrow foot, this shoe is perfect for you. If you have wider feet, try to find something else. The overall durability is great, the shoe hold up well with every type of run. After running for about a week, I noticed severe discomfort in my arch. I disregarded it the fist time. By the second run I had blisters. To keep this short and simple, If you have narrow feet, this is an amazing shoe. If you have a wide foot, I advise you to get something with better arch support for your runs
These are good shoes, with a nice balance of cushion and responsiveness. But I can only recommend them if you plan to put only a very limited number of miles on them. The good: I wore the shoes for marathon prep long runs of 20 plus and shorter pace runs and they worked well for both. The not so good: The durability was not what I hoped. I was hopeful the rubber outsole would hold up better than some other similar level shoes, but unfortunately was only able to get at most 100 miles on the shoes before an outsole disintegrated as shown in the accompanying picture.
Best expérience for my racing RUN Very good supporte
I bought these shoes half size up and had to exchange them because they gave me horrible feet pain, and bruised my big toe nail. I thought it was the size, but It wasn’t. These shoes are just not comfortable for MY feet, they make my feet sore and bleed. I love adidas shoes and the adios selection but for me these are a disappointment. I will keep running with them for the next few days to see if maybe I just have to wear them out a little bit. But I’ve just never had to do that with any running shoe. Hopefully im back in a few weeks to change my review, but for now, if you’re looking for Comfort, these are definitely not the ones.
I’m an experienced amateur runner and have used various Adidas running shoes for over five years and love the brand. I wanted a fast carbon plate shoe for an upcoming marathon and decided to try the Adizero Adios Pro 3 M. The shoe looks great is light and appears fast. However there is a huge manufacturing default around the big toe knuckle. I’ve never experienced pain like it. My sock was soaked in bloody after my first use (an easy 10k). The socks were think (Satisfy) so no blame there. I was left with a 2mm injury / blister and discomfort for several days after. Unfortunately I can’t risk using these shoes again. Sorry Adidas
I got them size 11, I’m usually 10. I wear them with cushioned socks as the tongue is very thin, I like to leave them a bit loose on the bridge of the foot to avoid marks as the laces are very thin and use a runners knot to secure my heel. The shoe has a special geometry so it takes a few runs to get use to it but once broken in these things are rockets. I’m a 205 pounds hybrid athlete so I appreciate the firmness the midsole offers and my legs always feel fresh. I think this are very capable and versatile shoes if you are a serious runner. I’m planning to run a half marathon with them soon! The only 2 things I will change: add a Gusseted tongue Longer shoe laces I know some people has ossues with the lopped eyelets but I haven’t had any issues so far!
