Best purchase in a long time!
I sold my car to go car-free and needed a way of geting my dogs around town, to the vets, to the park etc. Enter the Burley Trail Wagon. All of the reviews are true. This thing slaps. `Very well made, easy to assemble, and sturdy but light. The best thing about it, though, is how easy it is to ride with this trailer. It doesn't feel at all cumbersome and doesn't feel like it adds much weight to your bicycle. It'd be even easier with an ebike. It could also double up as a grocery trailer or hauler of anything, for example a box that needs to go to the post office and is too big for a bike basket. Buy it while its on sale!
Great puppy ride
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with the quality of the tail wagon fabric & tires. Easy to assemble & connect to bike. Nice roomy space for our 22 lb dog. Love the amount of air circulation via the quality screens. Not a lot of bounce in ride because of quality construction. We also purchase the cushion bed insert which our dog immediately took to, especially after using on floor in house prior to bike ride! I’m now going to purchase accessories.
Great dog trailer
Well made but be aware this is not a trailer that dogs can stick their head out of. The dog is safely enclosed within which not all dogs will like. The fabric is high quality and the larger wheels compared to other brands make trailer more stable. The burley dog bed also fits perfectly but it is an additional purchase.
Design problems
I have had a number of Burley Bee's but wanted to try the Tail Wagon for our 1 year old puppy. It was difficult to get the pup to go into the trailer and the only guidance I found was a YouTube from a manufacturer in Canada. Even with the training tips I got there I wasn't able to get him to warm up to the trailer. Construction of this trailer is good but the design lacks an attachment for a leash for the dog. In addition the cover/flaps are difficult to manage. When the flaps are up it is too easy for the dog to hop out. It would help to have velcro added so that the flaps could be folded back and adjust the opening more easily.
Tail Wagon has the doggos waggin’
Easy to use. Perfect size for our two doggos. The hitch was super easy to install. Connects easily. Folds down for space-saving storage and/or transport. Sturdy and safe. Highly recommend the Tail Wagon + pet bed.
The dogs love it!
The Burley Tail Wagon is a big hit with our two Jack Russell Terriers. It was easy to put together and easy to attach and detach from my bike. It's very well constructed and has places for leashes and treats. It's surprisingly easy to pull on the bike too.
Love this but…
Love this but we didn’t anticipate how large our puppy would get so we had to return for the Bark Ranger XL. She fit the weight range but we never considered her height. We love the look and how sturdy the Tail Wagon is. If your dog is smaller (we have a standard goldendoodle) then I highly recommend this wagon. It attaches easily to the bike and is a dream to pull. I ride an electric bike and the Tail Wagon just glided along with me.
With the two wheels, I got more balance.

Love this trailer
Our dog loves excursions in her Tail Wagon and I love that we can get exercise on our bikes with our pup in tow. The ride is smooth and the trailer is lightweight. So happy we bought this!
