Sturdy wheels/floor, wish it came with rain cover
This trailer is very spacious for my corgis. Despite their short height, they can see out the windows. They didn't seem to get any motion sickness and the zippers seem durable. Some of the seams of the fabric had threads coming out fresh out of the box. I'm hoping it lasts. I wish it came with a rain cover being that it was very pricey. I went with the XL due to the slightly larger dimensions, even though the combined weight of my dogs would've been under 75 lbs. The trailer goes on bumpy terrain, on grass and over hills just fine.

Great if your dog tolerates the cover
I thought the product was fantastic with one serious flaw - I kept the cover off while getting my dog acclimated, and the buttons it attaches to on the sides rusted away within weeks (granted, this is Alaska weather but it's not yet so harsh other than cold rain)

I am currently in a

I am currently in a cross country ride on the southern tier, dragging behind me a Burley Bark Ranger with my best friend in it. 700 miles so far from Fort Lauderdale to Destin, Florida. SUPER HAPPY WITH PERFORMANCE…The Burley Bark Ranger has exceeded all expectations. A little over 2000 more miles to go. I will keep you posted. Thank You Burley and the Burley Team.

Game changer for our senior newfie

We bought this for senior newfie to use as a stroller. She's a rescue, we think she is 12-14 years old. Since getting the bark ranger, we've been able to take her on long "walks" with her brother. It's a game changer for us. She walks for a short distance and then hops in the stroller and away we go.

This thing is a breeze

This thing is a breeze to use and our dog loves it! Our anxious rescue hates being left alone & the Bark Ranger has made it possible for me to go on longer bike rides again. We eased him into it, using it first as an in-house crate for a week or two, then an outdoor crate, then as a trailer. He **did** throw up about 7 times on our first ride, but with a couple adjustments (mother riding in front instead of behind us, fewer treats thrown into the trailer), he has been fine ever since! We take it down to the local dog park, to restaurants, and on a couple longer rides; my hope is to eventually get back into bikepacking trips and bring him along :D Reference for photos: Tulkas is a 50lb male standard poodle. The XL allows him to comfortably stand while riding and is the same size as his crate.

Great Dog Trailer!

We have a 20 pound terrier mix that was a rescue. She is super skiddish and using handlebar bags and other bikey carrier products just didn’t work out. We considered the smaller tail wagon from Burley but opted for the more expensive Bark Ranger since it also converts to a stroller mode. Pick up at our local REI store was seamless and the product was not damaged. Out of the box we noticed the usual high end Burley quality that always shines. Assembly was easy even for me. We left the wheels off and left it in the living room, throwing treats and her toys in it on occasion. This helped a ton! Once we were ready for the wheels she associated it with good things. She loved it in stroller mode right off the bat. We kind of blew it when we went for a bike ride at a local trail that is frequented by mountain lions. She always freaks when we walk it but we thought the safety of the trailer would help but nope didn’t happen. Freaked out right away. Subsequent rides around the neighborhood have been fine. I love that the Bark Ranger has easy access, pockets, full mesh sides and front/back, and can stow almost flat. It is pretty big for a smaller dog, but that’s not a bad thing. Plus when she gets older she might like the stroller mode more. Great Burley product!

Cleo loves coming along for

Cleo loves coming along for bike rides in her bark ranger XL. She is part German shepherd and husky so this was the best size for us. I can also vouch for all the accessories. We have the pet bed, treat pouch, and bark ranger bag. I’ve been impressed by the quality of all the burley products and everything is handling repeated use well. The only improvement I would suggest is adding some sort of shock absorption that the more expensive kid trailers have.

Best Burley Cart for Bernie’s Mountain Dogs

Absolutely love this product! We have Bernie’s mountain dogs and the Burley XL does everything we need it to and more. Our dogs way around 100lbs. The Burley makes it feel like they are barely back they. It pulls so smoothly. We are so exited to bring our dogs on our bike rides instead of leaving them at home. Thank you Burley for making such and amazing product that we can share with our family!

Great around town dog trailer

This dog trailer is amazing! My dog loves riding in it. We thought she would be nervous b/c she is a pretty timid dog but she got right in. Now that she knows it means she can go with us everywhere, she loves it even more. It is super easy to set up too! The one thing is I wish it came with a soft padded bed. I know you can buy one but for $400 it seems like it should come with the bed. Our dog is a border collie mix ~ 32lbs and she fits in the regular size perfectly.

Fits my large dog, other was too small

So picked it up and assembly was simple, however the arm rail did not align. After looking at it the lower slot was not aligned to the first slot. So needed and Allen and once loose I was able to get it to align. Be careful as the material is aluminum and if you over tighten it will strip (reason for only 4 stars). Moves very free and pulls very light. Have not have a change as of yet to take it for a ride as its been raining now. I like the feature that I can push the dog like a stroller or leave in as a kennel while in an area I cant let him out at. I will add photos once I am able to use it on a trip.
