Favourite Powers yet!

These are just the most flattering, versatile leggings I’ve found. They don’t roll down, have a sculpting look and are so comfy. I use them for biking and running but they’d be great for any exercise. Ordering another pair soon!

Beware - stretch with wear

I've worn these for a pilates class, HIIT class, and a run, and they have stretched a lot with wear, to the point where if I lean forward in them now I have a noticeable back gap, and if I'm sitting on my mat in boat pose they get all bunched up around the higher wasted part that is supposed to be compressive. I have to hike them up a lot. I wear regular Powers all the time and a consistent XS. I ordered these in an XS. However, they're very comfortable for lounging around in and quite flattering, the navy colour is gorgeous. I also agree about the weird seam that tends to camel a bit. I won't be returning, but I won't be ordering another pair.

Good but not great

I bought the high waisted leggings to replace the normal black power leggings (that i've had for years and LOVE). The material is different (almost like scuba diving material when you first open them). There isnt a back pocket but there are pockets on both legs. The only downside is that there isnt an internal drawstring so I am finding that they slip down when I wear them. With the normal Power leggings this didnt happen so I wonder if its the different material. I think I would size down in the high waisted ones. Wouldn't recommend for running because they slip down and there's no waist drawstring to tighten them.

Look worn after just 2 washes

Disappointed with the quality of the legging. The seams have bobbled within 2 washes and make them look well worn. They also have tendency to drop down requiring me to constantly pull them up after undertaking exercises. Perhaps I could have tried smaller size? On a positive note they give me a nice shape and look good on (apart from the seams). They definitely aren't as good quality as a pair of Power leggings I purchased in 2020, I wouldn't buy this legging again.

They’ve done it!

I am a SB veteran. I have been wearing the kit for at least 10 years and I love how the brand has adapted over the years. I personally found the regular powers didn’t have enough coverage on the waist and found the seams on the bum unflattering so would always buy the super sculpts but as an avid weight lifter the sweat patches would appear and I found the material a little too hot. As soon as I saw these on the site I knew they would be perfect. These are hands down the best pair of SB leggings out there. They tick all the boxes: high waisted, compressing, bum sculpting, buttery soft fabric, sweat wicking and SO COMFY. I cannot wait to buy the blue and I hope they are released in a burgundy and a grey as they are going straight in my basket. Nailed it. I live in gym wear as a PT so thank you SB for making me feel fab.

Very tight compared with usual Powers

I love my usual Power leggings and was excited to try the new high-waisted version. I ordered my usual size (XS) and was expecting the same fit, just with a higher waist. However, the high-waisted version are much tighter all over (see attached photo comparing them with standard XS Powers). I did manage to get them on, but unfortunately I found the compression effect of the fabric very uncomfortable. I will try them in a S as I love everything else about them!

Such a Disappointment

I have a few pairs of SB leggings. These seemed perfect. The high waist of the Super Sculpt but not quite so warm and the softness of the Power leggings topped off with two deep pockets. When they arrived they felt super soft and they are a lovely deep black. I wanted to love them but I am so disappointed. They don’t have the compression I was expecting and although they fit well for the first 30 minutes they soon start to bag around the crotch and roll down around the waist. As a result they are uncomfortable - even if you just want to lounge around. Such a shame they had such promise as a concept.

Power meets Zero

I'm a huge fan of the original powers and am chuffed these now come in a high-waist! I have to admit these don't really feel like a power, the fabric is quite different and I would say the fit is similar to the zero-gravity but with the squat proof element of a power. I stuck with my usual power size (S), and the waist band is extremely sculpting. I find in my normal powers that I have to use the draw string as my waist is far smaller than my thighs and pulling them up tends to stretch the band but so far these hug my waist and really 'bounce-back' when I put them through the wash. Overall these feel like a hybrid and a great addition to the power family. #teamsweatybetty

More power in the powers

A perfect and powerful upgrade. Although I love the original powers and have many pairs, the waistband and zip pocket was never quite right for me. A zip in yoga, Pilates and Feldenkrais does not work. These are very flattering. The material and waist band are perfect. I knew from the reviews that they would be more snug, but once I had poured myself into them, they were very comfortable. I would not wear anything too compressive in the tummy area as my breathing comfort is more important that what I look like. More colours and patterns please. Greens. I will buy these now rather than originals.

They fall down on me

When I opened these leggings and saw them at first I was so excited because I thought for sure they'd be amazing - normal great quality etc. was there. However, the new higher waist line and thick band did not have the same staying-up power as the normal 'Power' leggings. They fell down on me even when I was walking despite fitting well on legs, bum etc. and for sure would not be suitable for any higher intensity movements. I ended up sending them back and will stick to the normal Powers. I do have a small waist in comparison to my hip measurements though so this may not be the case for everyone!
