Great for gym, hiking, off roading, rappelling, etc.....
Love this - Corona virus or no. I've used Echo tees pre-COVID for trail hiking in the spring/summer/fall. Extremely lightweight and versatile. I think I have about 5 or 6 now and use all the time because of COVID - at the gym and just around. My face doesn't breakout/is more breathable when working out. Love these buffs! I'd recommend the heavier weight ones for winter. Have used in the swamps in PA, mountains in CO, canyons in UT, and off-roading in AZ deserts. Always glad I had it with me.
Alaska approved! Love it
This is the best gaitor I've ever owned and I can't imagine going back to anything else. I wore it on the first below zero ski tour of the season last week, eyebrows and hair frozen, and somehow this gaitor didn't freeze from my breath. Kept my face and nose warm the entire tour. It's also the perfect stiffness - it stays far enough away from your face to keep some air in for warmth, and it stays up over your nose while skinning/skiing. Love it.
great sturdy fabric
warm weather coverage, multipurpose and durable, perfect for backpacking adventures, cold mornings and winter sports, I highly reccomend it to others. the trail mix fabric and very soft and looks in style with every outfit. good for beginners and experts alike. good for use in everyday life as well as outdoor adventures, bright color variety is also a bonus. I like it very much even after all the use I've got out of it
Feels good and warm
It feels soft and smooth to the touch, like how it fits and snugs your face. It does protect your face from cold windy weather but be mindful when you put it on, as it's easy to rip seaming on the inside. Once it's broken it will slowly star loosing around stitching.
Warm, snug, useful
These neck warmers are great for skiing and winter hiking. They are warm, comfortable, lightweight and snug. Some neck warmers I find to be too loose and bulky. These, from Outdoor Research fit well and are not too bulky. A useful little thing to put in your pocket!
Finally! A soft neck gaiter!
So I have multiple of these neck ubertubes! They are wonderful. The trail mix fabric is soooo soft. And they stay up over your nose and mouth nicely! I used when cross country skiing this winter on a regular basis. I hope OR makes more in other colors next winter!
Wrap me in Trail Mix material
This is lovely, soft and cozy. I want a headband made of this material. In fact, I want underwear made of this material! I'll be wearing the neck gaiter under scarves because it's so nice. Perfect size that I can slip it up over my nose.
Wear daily
I love wearing this almost daily to keep my neck warm. I've worn this do go on daily walks as well as dogsledding in Minnesota. If I get too warm, I can easily take this off as opposed to needing to take off an entire layer.
Soft and cozy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels quite nice. Since it's currently 90* out, I haven't tried it yet for warmth. Not for another 4 months (but OR wants a review now). But it feels great (softer than my merino buff) and I think it's going to be great.
The Trail Mix Ubertube is fantastic!
The Trail Mix Ubertube is extremely soft and comfortable. It works really well for hiking and biking in cold weather. It is warm yet breathable and adapts well to a wide range of temperatures.
