I LOVE the comfort of these shoes! I wore them for a 22+ mile rucking event in Mammoth lakes…… great energy return uphill, no issues with stability down hill. That’s just it……I only got 22 miles out of these shoes. Rocks punctured the toe guard, the bottom tread is all torn up. What is up with the quality of these shoes lately? My 5th pair of Saucony trail shoes and the last 3 pair have less than 30 miles on them and are torn up or have lost traction.
I bought these a month ago for my daughter to wear during her school cross country races. She likes the fit and feel and tells me she feels like they help to improve her time. She's gotten five straight PR's after switching to these shoes from her Nike Wildhorse 8's. She still practices in those and saves her Endorphin Edge shoes for race day. They run true to size and look pretty good too. She has them in black with gold highlights.
Awesome! We're happy she likes them!
I’ve been wearing Saucony shoes for years and I never had a problem with any of them until now. I return to Saucony because of the superb fit they’ve given my very wide, flat, supponated feet. The first pair of pink endorphins was labeled 6 1/2 . It fit like an 8.5 extra wide so I returned them for a different pair. The second pair was a little shorter but still too long and too wide. I’m very disappointed. It seems like the quality control on this shoe went out the window. I hope this is a one-time thing because I’d hate to look for another brand of shoes after all this time.
Love the fit of this shoe and how light weight they are. I feel lighter and faster wearing these. However…. the treads wear out very quickly. After about 100 miles (1 month) the treads are worn down. Yes, I do run on the rocky trails of Phoenix but at this price point ($200) these shoes should last much longer. I run about 4-5 miles per day, 5 days a week and I’m not a heavy or harsh runner (135lbs). None of my other trail runners wore down this quickly. Also the treads aren’t deep enough to provide good solid grip in loose gravel type terrain. Feet will slip and slide. But for hard packed terrain these are great and responsive.
I am thoroughly impressed I must preface with I am not a trail runner I have always been a road runner. I had a hike coming up to Grand Canyon and needed grip and comfort and didn’t want ankle shoes or boots. These did not disappoint I hiked south rim to river to run in one day 17.3 miles , my legs were not tired, lightweight and not a single blister! They are amazing and I have had a few saucony runners in the past but I was very impressed. Nothing more to say other than the fact that sneakers are crazy expensive but they are so worth every penny! Do yourself a favor and don’t sleep on these!
Perfect right out of the box. Bought a second pair to throw in a drop bag. Noticeable reduction in tiredness of legs. 🥰
Cushion is amazing, and LOTS of room in the toebox. Felt a bit sloppy initially, I expect because I wasn't expecting so much room, but 6mi into a hot, sweaty trail, toes were still very happy. The Edge gripped on all surfaces of my usual trail (fine silty-dust, golf-ball-sized construction gravel, smooth boulders and jagged outcrops, steep slopes of either granite scree or sagebrush & tumbleweed. Fabric is perfectly breathable without having the mesh that collects foxtails & other stickers. Training for a double-half this fall, the Edge is my new fave shoe.
I am not a runner but I do a lot of adventures and these have been my favorite adventure shoes by far! They got completely submerged in the muddy jungles of Costa Rica and then rinsed off and dried off very easily, completely, and quickly! I have the black ones and you couldn't even tell they had been muddy. I wore them up to the summit of Half Dome and the top of Angel's Landing and the grip was perfect. I have done lots of desert hikes in them and it's true that the rough stone took off a piece of tread or two, but I have continued wearing them without a problem. I love the stow loop for the laces. They are very comfortable for me.
I LOVE these shoes! I use triumphs as my daily trainers on the road and peregrines for trails. I have a few Ultra races coming up and decided to grab these.. and I am SO happy that I did! First time wearing them was this past weekend on an 18 mile trail run- they were so incredibly comfortable, I didn’t even have to think about my feet during it. I felt light on my feet, like I was just prancing along. And my legs still felt fresh at the end! I am definitely stocking up on these!
This was a good shoe. When I first got it, my foot muscles cramped up for a bit but acclimated fairly quickly. They did seem to help somewhat with fatigue… I seem to have more energy wearing the carbon plated footware. However, I ended up returning them because when I would wear them on any wet surface, even just a sidewalk, they were dangerously slick and I slipped more than once.
