Easy install
Very simple and fast install. Simple to use, as it was prior to extension. Not 5 start because when in upright position, it has a range of motion that is noticeable when braking and accelerating, the system being so heavy. Also, it's extremely long and will touch the ground when in downwards position. On the Jeep, it works, but with any lower car it wouldn't have much downward range. Very heavy when assembled. But make it's very sturdy. I would buy again. I recommend.
Great but...
Bought this a few years ago to transport family bikes. With two bike extension added to the 2 bile unit, the latch handle no longer has enough range of motion raise or lower the rack. Once I do manage to get it down, I need to leave it in the down position. I have sent questions to Thule support, to rectify this issue, but nil response once they have your money. Previous reviews were never posted!
Buyer beware
Horrible installation - instructions need words not just pictures. Absolute insane they can sell his product the way it is. I love Thule but this product is a FAIL.
