Thule Edge Roof Rack System 2022 Ford Maverick
This is a great roof rack! It is built very well. Installation was a breeze. It helps to have another person assist with initially placing the bars on the vehicle to prevent scrathing the paint but can be installed as I did, by myself. Love this roof rack. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the fact it did not come with the keyed cylinder locks but rather simple plastic lock in place cylinders that you apply by turning with a flat head screwdriver. The keyed cylinder locks are a separate purchase if you want them for added security. Still not enough to overcome my satisfaction with this system. As to be expected, there is a slight whistle noise that is created by the rack being installed on the roof, but was really only noticeable for me with the moon roof open or vented. I believe Thule makes an optional panel that fits the front rack making the system more aerodynamic if needed or wanted.

I bought this for my new Hyundai Ioniq 5, which doesn't come with any built in rack mounts, so I bought the Wingbar to attach via the door clamps. It looks cool and is super solid. The instructions that came with were easy to follow so was able to mount in ca. 30 mins. I'm still waiting to receive the roof box that will go on top, but it fits my canoe well and undoubtedly tons of other stuff. The only downside is that it adds significant wind noise above 50 mph. Note this car is fully electric, so starting with no engine noise, the wind noise from the rack is very noticeable. Looking forward to a long road trip to test out the rack, box, and the interstate EV charging network.
Thank you for your feedback, Blair! It sounds like there may be a gap somewhere in your Thule WingBar Edge installation. If the rubber gasketing on the top of the bar is not installed completely to the edges of the crossbar, and the feet are not securely installed, the gaps in the system can act as whistles at higher speeds. Checking this and securing the system will ensure quieter operation of this low-profile system.

Noisy
I've had Thule crossbars on my minivan for 4-5 years and have loved them! Recently we bought a new minivan so of course, I immediately ordered new crossbars that would fit my new van. Unfortunately, these crossbars whistle and are super noisy. I'm guessing it's just because they have such a large profile. We've had to resort to removing them in between trips because the whistling is so annoying. So sad. I want to love them like I did my last crossbars (which were Aeroblades)... but I just can't. Buyers remorse.
Fitment Woes: Two Sizes, REI Help Lacking, Seekin
Struggles with Car Fitment: Required Two Different Sizes, Unassisted by REI Staff. Resorted to Online Research, but Returned Item Due to Unavailability of Correct Size. Received a Suggestion to Explore a Competitor for Installation to Make Roofbox Compatible.
Guaranteed fit doesn't mean anything.
1. it obviously said guaranteed fit and it didn't fit my truck. 2. The support has no idea what they're talking about, he didn't even know there's two types of roof racks on the bronco sports. 3. The dude lied to me on the phone and told me he was going to ship the replacement that day and shipped it 8 days later. 4. One of the packages I received was missing parts.

If there are any miscommunications on our fit guide, our team does what we can to fix the issue and correct the error. This process does take some time to initiate, especially when troubleshooting and confirming correct fitment, so same-day shipments are unfortunately usually not possible. It looks like a return and exchange was started immediately, and was released as soon as we received confirmation that the returned bar was shipped. I am sorry about the confusion on this process. The Thule Customer Support team will certainly be able to assist with any missing components of your roof rack system as quickly as possible.
Sleek and Durable
I got these wingbars for a Q3, they are phenomenal! They are light, easy to set up (~1hr. - less for someone experienced with them), look great in black. I have no concerns with them becoming loose or not being able to handle the load. I'll be leaving them on year 'round for building supplies. Highly recommend.
Beautiful Engineering
Everything about this, from the clear instructions to the helpful customer service calls, to the superb engineering has made this purchase a great choice. Price is only thought about when you buy something; but good quality far outweighs it over time.
Awesome updated version but sizes might be off
Awesome updated product, but the 2013-2016 Mercedes Benz GL 5-door needs 721300 and 721400, the selector shows both 721300's, but its too short for the front.
