Everything Prana makes is great, including these.
These fit nice and offer good flexibility and durability. I feel no restrictions during yoga. They also dried relatively quick when I got them drenched at the beach. If you were a head bouncer at the local country music nigbtclub I'm sure you could wear these and be able to throw spinning thunder kicks to take care of evil drunken ruffians.
I'm not that fat!
Nice material. Sizing is on the very snug side. I wear a L pants in most other brands but I won't be able to bend over to pick up a quarter in these crotch climbing thigh hugging (ain't no way I'm sitting cross legged in these) pants. Size up folks (No photos provided out of common decency)
Good all around pants for all but the hottest days
These pants are comfortable and have a nice slim profile that allows for movement but isn’t too tight. I typically wear a 36x32 pant but I ordered these in XL-30 based on past experiences with Prana. They fit perfectly. Almost exactly what I was hoping for. Wouldn’t mind them being a bit more lightweight for the hottest days though.
comfy pants
Wanted a pair for years, glad to finally have them. The new waste band is comfy but different from previous years and can roll up inside itself. Still the same great quality expected from prana. Ordered two sizes up from normal pant size for room to climb. Probably would have been fine with regular size or just a single size up. Luckily the band is pretty stretchy and has a draw string.
Get them while they last
Fits as expected, not too loose or too snug. According to the size chart I was a small waist, this ended up being the case although usually I am in the medium waist on size charts (not complaining). I went with a 34 instead of a 32 inseam because I use these for rock climbing and the harness tends to hike them up a bit. I haven't ever seen these on sale before, so grabbing a discontinued pair for $20 is a no brainer! Prana's stuff holds up well and is very comfortable
Outside pajamas
Pajama feel but nice enough to wear in public. I usually wear an XL in prana pants, but based on the reviews for these I ordered a XXL. I'm glad I did - these fit slimmer in the seat and thigh than some other styles and I'm pretty sure the XL would have been quite restrictive.
what happened to the good waistband?
I buy a couple of these every year and the last pairs I bought had a soft and wrinkly waistband that rolls down into a tube instead of keeping its shape. So I stopped buying them.
