I just got these in the blue color and went bouldering in them. I like them, but they aren’t my favorites (bring back the kinetic capri!!! my absolute favorite climbing pant, I wear those in a small and love them). These were a little loose for where they hit my waist so they fell down a little with dynamic movements, but they don’t give me as much stretch as I’d like in the thigh - I struggled to get some high footholds because they constricted my movement just a bit. I like the way they look, and will definitely wear them on chiller climbing days. Size reference: I usually wear a size 4-6, am 5’6, waist about 28 inches, hips about 38 inches, and the widest part of my thigh is 23 inches around!
I am so picky about my clothing, but I think I may have found the ultimate pair of pants. These tick all the boxes for me: Flattering jogger cut. Pull-on style for maximum comfort (and again, very flattering!) MULTIPLE REAL POCKETS!!!! that are actually big enough to contain items like keys, phones, wallets. Sturdy, breathable fabric that looks "professional" enough for me to wear to the office (gorpcore 4 life). Lovely color options that coordinate with everything I own. Really, these pants are the perfect intersection of function, durability, and style. I've already bought these in four different colors and I expect I will continue to stockpile them as long as they are available.
These pants are so cozy, they’re light for climbing in the heat and the stretch is great. However the sewing job is miserable. I bought two pair and both ripped the first time I climbed in them. I’ve resewn the seams on one pair four times and the other pair has 3 more busted seams. Since the rips are on the seams, I know it’s not my being too “rough” on the pant. The pockets just all fell apart.
I absolutely LOVE these pants! Bought them for our trip to Sedona. The weather hovered in high 40ms. I didn’t need a bottom layer. The pockets were great. And I love the color! Love so much I bought the skort.
These pants fit awesome almost all ways, just wish they were a tad longer. For reference, I'm 5'7", slim build, ~125lbs ,and the size small fits perfect. I'm usually an XS or S and a 2 or 4 in Prana and between the regular and tall inseams. The bottom hems land about 3" above my ankle bone (about the same as for the model) which works fine when standing, but bending the knee they get kinda awkwardly high. If they were a 30" inseam, instead of 28" they might be my favorite pants ever.
They look like soft pants with a hard pants vibe, but instead they are hard pants that look soft. I've never worn pants with such a small range of motion. It's like wearing rawhide. I wore them once and they got more uncomfortable the longer I wore them. They fit "like a glove" but there's no mobility. And if I shrank, the pants would fall off because there's no system to adjust the waistband. The material lining the pockets is scratchy mesh like inside a men's swimsuit, and the mesh fabric pops out of the pocket. If you want to look and feel like a hot mess, these are your pants.
These fit nothing like I had hoped they would and I don’t see them being a fabric I’d want to climb in as my motion is a bit limited in the medium heavy cotton. I purchased the saltwater color size small. I’m 5’2, 120lb and while I’m athletic I also have hips, a belly shelf left over from a c-section and a short torso. These pants are awful on me! They highlight my belly shelf, the stretchy waist band starts at an awkward spot which flattens my butt and the camel toe is obvious even though these are the correct size. A medium would be huge.
Size up since the fabric doesn’t stretch. For me I ordered a size up, they were sort of baggy but shrink a lot once put through the washer and dryer. They fit me perfect now with enough room to climb. The waste is stretchy and comfortable, reminds me of pregnancy pants. The waste isn’t adjustable but hasn’t been a problem for me. I like that I can fit yoga shorts under in case I get too warm, or an extra layer if it’s cold. I personally love these pants for climbing, and are my favorite. They are thin yet a tough material that doesn’t rip easily. Plus they are cozy and cute, and like the colors. I have the dark green, dark brown, and olive yellow color. I purchased a S and I am 5’4 113lbs the XS would have prob fit but not enough stretch I’m guessing. The length is perfect in my frame and the waste is up to my belly button. These do shrink a lot, and not a stretchy material.
I have at 3 pairs of these pants and I will most likely be getting more. The only reason they’re not 5 stars is because the waist band hits my hips awkwardly and can slip a bit which doesn’t allow for the best mobility when climbing which is what I bought them for. Not the best in a harness but I like them for bouldering/ backpacking / camp pants so definitely worth it just not for my first intended use.
These pants are sturdy, with a knee area that has stitching that makes it comfortable when the knee is bent, such as biking. When you stand, the knee area can appear like it's sticking out. I still think they are awesome because of comfortable soft waistline, perfect fit, cute color options, nice pockets. I bought them on sale which was an added reason to love them!
