Accuracy Lacking
Cool pretty blue wrench to match my other Park tools. Seems to have a quality build. But those things are meaningless if a torque wrench is not accurate. After noticing it wasn't getting fasteners as tight as the setting indicated, I compared the readings to other torque wrenches I have that have shown to be very accurate. I conducted extensive tests and wanted the other wrenches to be the ones that were out of spec. But alas, the numbers didn't lie. This Park TW-6.2 was reading 2-3 nm high. In the lower range, that was showing a 9% error. Certainly unacceptable for a torque wrench with a $115 price tag!
Great torque wrench
Nice and big. I love it. I bought it for all my 20lb and up torques. Feels great in hand. I wish the grip was rubber more like a bike grip. It is smooth plastic and ok. Easy to dial. I have a couple of cheap bike specific torque wrench’s but this wrench feels far better. Just wish it was cheaper but that’s how quality torque wrench’s are.
