Great jacket terrible return processing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son likes the jacket. I like north face products and prefer their coats. They are always warmer than you think and I light weight. The only problem I had was with the online return. The first jacket I ordered wasn't a good fit and my son needed a large instead of a medium. I ended up returning the original and then ordering another coat. Since I used PayPal I couldn't return it to the store but it says 7 days for a refund. The original coat was mailed back November 1st. My return still has not been processed but shipping was quick on the jacket. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to buy the same jacket twice.

Perfect for layering for snow days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is exactly as described, rain warm jacket. I need a jacket that is thin but resistant to rain, in my case snow. My son layers it with a warm cozy sweater under and creates a perfect snow jacket instead of buying him a big thick for the 2-3 days of snow we get in the PNW. He can also continue using it throughout the year for rainy days and fall. Very good quality as always.

Mild Weather Winter Coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler has the Little Kids Warm Storm Jacket (smaller version of this), and it was the BEST purchase!! It's perfect for mild winter, and he's played in the snow in it several times (in CO) with layers. It's true to size, and it moves with him. He's worn it most days all fall and winter, usually mid-50s temps, with some precipitation. We seriously love this jacket. Logged on specifically to rave about it, but that one is sold out.

Best Northface Jacket we own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son uses this everyday for school . We live in Seattle where it rains almost 8 months a year. So, it's a necessity to stay dry and warm. I was searching for a Fully waterproof raincoat which is moderately warm but not heavy. This is it, yes, as a mom of a busy pre-teen mom I am happy with the purchase. I bought 2sizes up so he can wear a sweater underneath and use for at least 2-3 seasons.

Classy Warm Raincoat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic warm Raincoat. I was looking for a Raincoat which provides a little warmth too. This one is it. I took one star away as I would have loved the Arms too having the fleece lining. Not sure, why the fleece lining has been done only on chest and hood part. Otherwise classy Rain jacket.

Homerun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect jacket for my teen. Waterproof, well made layer to battle these inconsistent temps. My hoodie loving boy always needed negotiating for him to put on his "bulky" jacket. This jacket was the perfect solution. No more asking. He loves wearing it and it looks good too.

Efficient and Stylish Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm but not fleece lined on arms which I like. Because it doesnt make you feel too overheated. The sleeve ends are scrunched so you can pull your sleeves up without them falling down, or just not have the sleeves get in the way when youre walking/grabbing something/etc.

Best shoulder season jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect jacket for the shoulder seasons in MT. May, June, October, November. It's waterproof, insulated enough for 30 degree wet days and is light weight. We always have one of these for my daughter every year since 3 years old and she's almost 7 now.

Not waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this coat for my child for an Alaska trip. She wore it for the first time on a rainy day hike and got soaked. It is not waterproof at all. I could ring water out of it, and it took hours to dry.
