Slim fit look with comfort fit feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The problem with puffer jackets are they make you look like michelin tire icon. Understandably, it is usually function over form when it come to the design of these type of garments, especially true with all The NorthFace silhouette. This mid length jacket though, manage to straddle the warmth of a 600 level down jacket and retain a slim silhouette so you actually look rather fashionable. However, I don't recommend this jacket if you have a big belly because it will make you look like you're pregnant. If you have a normal body shape, this jacket will flatter your shape and keep you warm.

Perfect length, double zippers, no frills - just quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past few years I've had numerous down jackets and the same problem always existed... the length. I live in the midwest and the wind can be quite piercing. While the other jackets work, this jacket has the proper length needed to be extremely comfortable as well as weather resistant. This is an urban jacket for me I plan to use for winter nights outs, light hiking in parks, and dog walking. The double zippers are nice. Doesn't have an internal breast pocket which I like for wallet carrying, but that's a minor detail.

Armpit Stains!

I have had North Face jackets for a long time and have never had this issue. I do not sweat profusely and don't have this issue with other clothing or jackets: the jacket shows very large armpit stains and they are quite embarrassing. My clothing underneath the jacket do not have any stains, but for some reason the jacket does. I try washing it often only to see them come back over again. I've contacted TNF and of course they were not helpful. Jacket is warm and fits well otherwise.

Lightweight and Warm

I use it for my urban commutes to and fro Office. I was surprised when I first received it as this is very light and I was not sure if this will be appropriate for the harsh Canadian winters. However, later my fears were put to rest as this Parka provides excellent insulation for its weight. and if you wear two layers beneath it then you are good for -30 and below too.

Twice had to Warranty due to quality issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Twice had to Warranty jacket due to manufacturing faults. First time there was a large dark spot on the bottom, scuffs and loose threading. Second time the hood had padding for only half of the hood and also loose threading. First time going with north face and I'm very disappointed. They did send replacements without question so I will give 1 star for that

Best purchase in a long time... my dog agrees!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I bought this! I have put off spending a significant amount of money on a winter jacket.... Well it was worth every penny. I take my dog on 3-4 walks per day, we go roughly 6-8 miles on those walks. Living in Maine and New England it has made my walks more comfortable and enjoyable.

Warm and stylish coat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NorthFace makes quality coats! This jacket keeps me feeling warm and cozy while still being stylish. I like the large pockets, which allows me to hold my belongings without needing a bag. Since it's long and has a hoodie it keeps the warmth in and cold air out. Highly recommend!

very light weight and very warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought the coat for my husband to use on snowy days due to it having a hood attached. He loves that it is very light weight yet keeps him very warm and covers his hips. Very large pockets are a bonus to stuff gloves and scarf inside. The golden color is very stylish.

A Well Fitted Mid-length Down Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a mid-length down jacket in men but most options were either too bulky or were not long enough. Finally found this one and it is truly a no-compromise jacket/parka for men for most days. I wear it both on super-cold and not-so-cold days and it works great.
