Good Mid Layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned and got a Medium instead. I seem to be in between small and medium in all OR gear (every time I think I've got it figured out I'm wrong). I'm 5' 11' and about 150lbs. I don't think my ape index is very high, but I find that most OR gear is a little short in the sleeves which is why I went with a medium. It's a little baggy around the mid-section, but I'm usually layering up with a tee and thermal with a flannel overtop. It would be a little more handy if it had a bonded fabric on the inside to make the grid fleece a little easier to slide over other layers. I've mainly used it for commuting (-5 to 22 degrees F) as a mid layer and it seems pretty warm.

Great product a few suggestions

This is my everyday hoodie, it is light and breathable enough to wear in almost any condition. The waterproofing on the hood and shoulders is great and buys that time between when it starts to rain needing a rain jacket. The body material is great as well. I would appreciate longer sleeves I am 6'1" and the sleeves fit ok when I am standing with my arms at my side but are too short, when I reach for something. thumb loops might be a worthy addition to the hoody. Another suggestion would be a turtle neck enclosure for the hood and maybe getting rid of the zipper. if not getting rid of the zipper then adding a bit of fabric to the top of the zipper so it doesn't rub on your chin. more ability to turtle up in the hood would be great. Otherwise great everyday hoodie, it is on the road with me all the time.

Amazingly soft and versatile hoodie

The interior is very soft to the skin. Great for hiking or snowshoeing as a mid-layer, the material on the hood helps break the wind and do some light water repellency. Love wearing this around the house, or out and about. Don't wear this while doing chores, or yard work, fibers or sawdust get stuck in the material very easily.

Favorite pullover

I practically lived in this thing this past Fall. Now that spring is coming back, I'm finding myself in it every day again. It's been worn for misty morning hikes with my dog, chilly afternoon disc golf outings, and just to relax at home. Love this pullover and the whole trail mix product line.

Extremely comfortable, great regular/relaxed fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this as a more casual and loungy fleece. The fit is looser and more relaxed than the Vigor fleece (which I also love) which is great, as I use them for different purposes. Super warm and comfortable, I would definitely buy more trail mix stuff.

Favorite mid-layer

This is probably one of my favorite clothing purchases ever. Works great as a mid-layer, but can also be an outer-layer in 40-50 degrees. My go-to when biking, hiking, backpacking, or just traveling. Keeps you warm, but it's also very breathable.

Great Shirt - Sizes getter larger every year

Great looking top, I'm a small, but OR is just getting bigger and bigger on their tops. They talk about size inclusivity, I think it might be only on the women's line. I have 5 year old smalls that fit great, the new stuff is just huge.

Cozie hoodie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a cozie hoodie for wearing around the house, popping up to the grocery store, or for a breezy run. Also, I like its fit, kinda loose, but also has a thing to tighten it around the waist. I'm 5'5'ish and a small fit me perfectly.

The Outdoor Research ferrosi pullover is great sweater that keeps you warm during the cold winter months. The color really stands out and is very comfortable. Only thing to improve is the length of the sweater as it's too short.

Very Comfortable

I mostly have used this around the house and running errands, but I have also used it while camping. It is very comfortable and I love the chest pocket. I am 6'2" and about 200 lbs. I got a Large and it fits great!
