Using as a diaper bag
This bag is amazing! I was using a Patagonia 26l as my backpack/kid bag for my son but we have a baby in the way. So I bought this to try since it’s bigger and I love this brand. It’s perfect! Helps organize baby items. Large pockets, unzips for wide access. I love the bungee on the front so I can strap on coats or extra layers. Plus it’s very soft, padded, and feels great to carry. Can’t speak to durability of this backpack yet, but typically it’s great for this brand.

Ok basic school backpack
I find the backpack lower quality than I expected. It is not very comfortable. Padding for a laptop is minimal. The fabric feels cheap. I will not use it for long.

After two years I still love this bag!

I bought this bag for a trip to India in 2024 as a replacement for my previous backpack after I wore it down to the point of not return. So needless to say I am extremely picky about daily use bags. The 28L goes with me EVERYWHERE. I LOVE this bag. Would absolutely recommend. It’s super spacious, light, and has a lot of compartments for organizing. My favorite part is the small pocket by the base of the neck. Perfect for wallet and passport. I’m a small person as well 5’2” female and the 28L is still a great size. I’m very rough with my things and it’s still going strong after two years! The only thing I will say is that the lighter colored bags do stain and build up grime so take that into consideration. I love the color (terracotta), it looks just like the pictures, but if I were to choose again I probably would have gonna with the black bag to avoid this issue. I plan on purchasing again, years down the line when this one gets worn down.

Good price/performance, small laptop sleeve.

The laptop sleeve is JUST big enough for a Thinkpad 15, my other MSI Gaming 15" laptop that has "a butt" does not fit comfortably. If your laptop is thicker or has larger-than-normal dimensions, I'd look for an alternative. Other than that, the construction is high quality and looks durable. ~7 months use both in EDC and sporadic trail walking and still line new! The stretchy water pockets are great, in conjunction with the strap it holds a 750L insulated bottle and/or a 1.5L PET bottle firmly and securely.

Can't recommend enough

I bought this bag before I visited the Alps in the winter. I was just looking for a durable bag that could (1) fit enough stuff in it (used it as a carry on) and (2) be able to keep everything inside dry in case it rained or snowed. I am happy to say that it meet all of my expectations. I walked for extended periods of time in rain and heavy snow, and not once did anything inside get wet. It is extremely comfortable and has a lot of utility. It proved to be a good investment for me. Can’t recommend it enough!!

Everything you could want from a rucksack

Love this rucksack. Spacious pockets but also useful small pockets in front bit. Handy sunglasses / phone pocket on top. Able to fit quite a lot in, but then also the bag doesn't look strange if you're only carrying a few bits as you are able to adjust the straps to make it a bit slimmer. Used it for the past week hiking in the Pyrenees and it was amazing, also figured a way to strap my hiking poles on, and the elasticated bit really useful for tucking my top into when adding and removing layers! I look forward to using this bag for uni and work, and seeing how it holds up over time, but I am confident it will do me well! and I will return to fjallraven for any future rucksack needs!

The perfect backpack

I have been trying to find my perfect backpack for years now, trying Jansport, North Face, Patagonia, LL Bean, and plenty of others. This is my perfect bag. The big compartment has plenty of room, the laptop sleeve fits my MacBook perfectly, and the smaller front pocket is small but still useful and fits more than you’d think. It is not big to the point of being burdensome, but still holds far more than you’d think. I love this backpack. It is extremely well made, and very functional. I would highly recommend to it anyone. I am currently using it daily while working full time, and going to college part time, so it is being used heavily, and is doing great.

Solid all around bag

Bought this bag a while ago to take to London. Lots of room for a jacket, clothes, water bladder or computer. This bag is great for hikes, travel. I am also using it as a bug out bag. Great bag super comfortable and reliable.

Perfect for walking, work & overnight trips

I adore this bag. I bought Forest Green, it's deep pine green, true to the colour shown. I bought it mainly because I was doing a walking challenge. I spent ages looking around and I'm very happy with my choice. For walking it's comfortable and spacious with a good number of sections. I'm 165cm, medium frame and it sits comfortably on my back. It's light when empty. I now use it every day for work, carrying my laptop, lunch, water, book etc. I've also used it for overnight stays and it's a perfect size and swallow up everything I need. I use a packing cube for my clothes which means i can fit loads in. It still looks brand new despite loads of use and is smart and neat. Love!
