This is an awesome hat! As is everything FR makes.
Warm, but don’t expect to hear anything!
This hat is very warm and comfy. Kind of dorky looking but who cares I’m warm. The strap is handy to keep it in place when it’s really windy or you’re moving around a lot. My only complaint, and it’s a safety hazard, is it’s very hard to hear when wearing this hat. You have to be facing the sound for it to get inside the hat. Even when I’m hiking alone I still want to be able to hear nature sounds or if someone is approaching. It’s very frustrating, even though I want to love the hat.

Excellent head gear
Purchased last November for a trip to northern Scotland and Ben Hope. Fantastic hat 🎩 warm and comfortable. Classic design and very well made. Great protection from - 18c and some very icy winds 💨. Excellent fit, easily carried and packed away. A perfect wild cold weather piece of kit. I like it’s so much. I've purchased a second one. Very happy

I bought this a few months ago in anticipation of fall backpacking. The first night the temps dip down and this hat was not only warm but very packable. I loved it!
