Happy feet.

I tried on 3 other shoes but they were too loose at my heel and too soft so I felt unstable. These shoes fit perfectly! And I wore them all day at the museum and the arch support, nice toe room and full support worked perfectly!

Bruised my ankles
WalnutAC
I have another pair of On trail running shoes and enjoyed them so I decided to try these for road running. After running a mile, I had to stop as it rubbed against my ankle bones so much. It took a few days for my ankles to recover. I kept them but not for any running activity. I now have to wear with super cushioned socks and only use for walking or the gym.

great shoe, doesn’t last.

I bought these in december 2023 and already in may 2024 the heels is totally worn down and there are holes on the back. super disappointing since they were kinda pricey. they felt great, and preformed great but they just don’t last. i’m not super athlete either - walking 5 miles 3-4X a week at most, and really that was only from march -may due to weather.

Too expensive for the poor quality

I don't know how ON charges what they do for shoes that can't make it to one month of use. I'm recovering from injuries and bought these shoes because they didn't hurt my feet. 2 to 5 miles of walking per day on a sidewalk and the bottom heels are already worn out. I could get the same low quality from a big box retailer at a fraction of the price. And don't get me started about the acorns and rocks getting stuck in the grooves. From the reviews, it sounds like these shoes work best for people working inside. If you plan to use these for daily outside walks, take a pass. Too expensive for the poor quality. I'll be returning.

Hits my ankle…

I LOVE the look of these but that’s not what is important for training. The second I put them on I could feel them hitting my ankle bone. The edges are a stiff neoprene that digs into your ankle bone. When I wore them the second day and every day sense I have a constant bruise there. I work through the pain and eventually it’s gone but who wants pain when they are training? The toe is extremely wide too. I usually always get an 8 in my workout shoes but after reading other reviews went down to a 7.5 , they are still too big. I could have went a whole size down I believe. I don’t recommend this for weight training or running. I am surprised no one else is reviewing them this way…….

for indoor training/running, outdoors not so much

Full disclosure I bought these from the On store but I can’t leave a review on their site. Pros: these offer a good balance of support, alignment, flexibility, responsiveness and contact with the terrain you are on. Cons: the wide channels on the treads vacuum up rocks, mud, turf, poo, anything you step on. (They’re also fairly easy to clean.) Spend like 45 seconds walking in slightly damp grass (I mean like a close-mowed lawn in morning dew, not a meadow after a rain) and your feet will be squishy-soaked. I guess these are great shoes if you’re training and running indoors.

Nice shoes!

Love these shoes. They are a firmer support than I expected, but I am accustomed to zero rise shoes and I like them. She. I run, they feel great. No issues with rubbing ankle like I’ve seen in some reviews.

Uncomfortable --very unusual for ONs!

I love ONs, and have had at least half a dozen pairs, but was disappointed in these. The right shoe rubbed my ankle, and where the insole meets the upper is uncomfortable all the way around my foot. I know from experience this would be a very tiring shoe to wear. They do run true to size: for me, size 10 for women has been very consistent with ONs. I'll be exchanging these for a pair of Cloud 5s.

Neutral Road Runners

I wore them on a 2 mile walk thinking they needed to be broken in. To my surprise they were really comfortable. I did have to get half a size up than my usual size, and I think because of that they fit great with no chaffing of the ankles of bridge. I ran 3 miles with them the next morning and I usually run with Brooks Neutral Adrenaline running shoes. These were my favorite. My left foot is slightly more supinated than my neutral right foot, which causes my left knee to struggle on inclines or declines, and with these shoes, it was not the case. Needless to say, these are my new favorite, with the 2nd pair on its way.

Stylish and light, every day shoe.

Cute cross training shoe! My first pair of On shoes. I have narrow heel and wider toe box (slight bunions) and a number of running-related injuries so I am always nervous about trying new brand of shoes. Saucony and Brooks have been my go to brands of late (asics and nike are just too narrow unless I opt for the wide sizes). I also prefer very breathable uppers as I stand/walk all day at work in healthcare. Got these for cross training and work and they have been great! My feet feel stable and they have just the right balance between support and firmness for walking. Great grip on slippery surfaces too. I woud not run more than a mile in these since they don't have that kind of cushioning but they are great for every day, especially if you walk alot.
